Curlykids Curly Kids Curly Gel Moisturizer, 6 Oz

Works great and you only have to use a small amount so it lasts forever!

We've used this since my son was about a year (he's 2 now), and it's been great. He has corkscrew curls that tend toward the coarse side (he's a mix of Black, White, and Japanese—majority Black), and we use just a tiny dollop of this in his wet hair and let it air dry, and it holds his curls great pretty much all day. It's not heavy (you can't even tell there's any product in his hair), and it doesn't smell much at all, which is great because I have a sensitivity to strong scents. Will definitely continue using!

I have exclusively been using Curly Kids products on my mixed toddler's 3b/3c hair since she was a baby. I'm absolutely in love with their products. Though daughter's hair is soft, it dries out quickly, and Curly Kids' moisturizer helps to maintain moisture and retain her hair's softness without requiring an insane amount of product. Just a dollop of Curly Kids moisturizer does the trick; on top of that, the product is lightweight and doesn't weigh down her hair. My only issue is that, with my daughter's hair in particular (YMMV on this), Curly Kids product don't maintain their hold for more than a day at a time. Besides that, I stand by my love for Curly Kids moisturizer and their other products. They're light, not overly sticky, smell great, and they're versatile with a lot of different hairstyles. I'd also high recommend their detangling conditioner and frizz control paste.

I am a white mother with a black son--- all of this to say I was absolutely clueless on how to take care of his hair, and bought this after a recommendation from a friend of mine. I am so glad i took the advice and bought it! This product makes both of our lives so easy. The gel is so gentle and not greasy at all--- it really provides amazing bounce and definition to his curls, and because it's so light, it's easy to apply and doesn't require he sit still for too long while i put it on. A new staple in our house!

My 1 year old daughter is half Hispanic half African American. She has the thickest hair I have ever seen on a child! I have searched high and low for hair care products that were effective yet gentle enough for her hair. I found it with this line. I used mixed chick's kids line before this and was not impressed! I have actually purchased the entire line of curlykids, and I use it all religiously. I use the shampoo once or twice a week. I co-wash other nights with the curly kids detangling conditioner. On the nights I shampoo, I use the deep conditioner, leave it in for about 5 min, then rince. I always finish with the the leave in cream conditioner. If she wears her hair down, I will use the curl defining lotion and frizz control paste. If she is wearing hear hair up I use the gel. The change in her hair after the first use was unbelievable! I recommend these products to anyone with biracial children and children with very thick curly hair!

I bought this for myself, I have soft 3B hair. It's okay, it doesn't really help my curls form well and leaves my hair kind of poofy. I find it works better after I let my hair air dry and diffuse it. I then apply a little of CurlyKids to my semidry hair and it helps to control the flyaways.

Im in love pf this Gel moisturizer. Easy to use and your baby hair is going to look and smell amazing.

This is buy far the worse product I purchased for my daughters hair. It doesn't do anything. Not even for a min. I put on her edges and brush and it remains the same. It doesn't even get flat for a second. My daughter has biracial hair

The gel holds styles well but I found it very drying for my 3yo's hair
