Adult Size Venus Flytrap (Fly Trap) Carnivorous Plant (Dionaea Muscipula) 3 Inch Pot

I've wanted a VFT since I was a kid. Plants that eat flesh (if what insects have is flesh lol)? Come on man... that's so crazy and cool. Nature is a mad scientist! The plant came very feast and health. Check out the videos from the sellers website. Excellent step by step institutions. Doubt you can go wrong...IF YOU FOLLOW THEM! Feeding it (named her Audrey III) was so cool. Nice big ant mound by next door house with some nice big juicy ants. Set up my phone on a tripod and started recording, then paused to catch the ant again. Dropped it gently with needle nose tweezers and in about 2 seconds...BAMMMM! The trap triggered and then slowly clamped down. But...in my excitement...if forgot to unpause the video recording. DOH! It wa wicked cool though LOL! I noticed after that...that she already had another victim in another trap. Been putting her in the yard in the morning sun since I don't have a great window for the at least 4 hours she needs. I live in Metro Phoenix and did my research. They will grow here but I'll need to take some extra steps. I'll likely need to setup a grow light by next summer. Suspect outdoors even in the mornings will be hard on her. I strongly recommend purchasing from this seller. He's got it down to a T. And...follow the instructions and care and feeding. I'm curious to see how she handles hibernation here. I'll definitely be getting another in the spring. She'll likely need a buddy lol.

Love the condition my plant arrived in and the care the seller took to package it. It came with VERY detailed instructions to keep the plant in good condition. Get yourself some distilled water before your plant arrives so you can pot it right away.

I hate to leave a bad review, but when the plant arrived it was floppy/wilted and even after following all instructions exactly the plants rotted and died after less than a week. I tried to contact the seller and never even got a response or any help. I have owned plants my whole life and have never had any issues, I understand that these are more difficult to take care of than the average plant but don’t waste your money for the plant to be dying upon arrival.

Great plant but the problem was, USPS delivered this well after expected. It arrived wilted and not looking good. At no fault of the seller. Arrived wrapped nicely with great instructions. If it wasnt for the delivery delay, this plant would have been awesome. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to salvage it.

This thing arrived with plenty of insights and instructions from the grower. So far, one summer's worth of growing time, they have been spot on. Planted as instructed and keep it watered and it has flourished. It keeps the bugs in check inside the screen. Looking forward to watching it go dormant and seeing if it will come back next spring. I dropped the "giftable" rating a star just because of the need for the package to be received in a timely manner. If you can guaranty that the gift receiver will open the shipment immediately, there should be no troubles.

You can trust you will recive amazing quality venus flytrap plants and for a great price! So the first order I placed, my two flytraps arrived, but during a freak snowstorm. Unfortunatly they were frozen/damaged in transport. I contacted the seller and they sent me two new plants for no aditional cost, cant beat that! They are of the best quality, come with great instructions on care, and are thriving! My son loves them so much he is doing his science fair project on the Venus Flytrap. 10/10!

While fascinating, this is much smaller than expected and the container isn't what I was one would anticipate.

I loved how carefully packaged it came. The moss pieces dissolved beautifully and I was able to easily plant it. I sat mine in a teacup instead of a planter. The plant is a very nice size and extremely healthy. Hopefully it will adapt and live a long time! Thanks! I couldn’t be more happier and my son, is just as happy as it was for him.
