It is a good product at a good price. It is priced as much as 50% less than products that look identical from other sources/manufacturers. The inclusion of the whip antenna connector cable and the phono antenna plug end for the radio ant receptacle are good inclusions. Basicly it is 30 feet of hookup wire. The value comes from the way it stores and releases the wire and the 2 types of connections to the radio. Other than that no difference electrically/magnetive between it and 30 feet of antenna wire. Good value for an inexpensive cost.

Really decent for what it is. And for the price. Mounted it over the ceiling beam at a camp under metal roofing and it surprised me.

My 80 something year old mother has a portable radio that she moved to a different location. It is an old radio I was not grabbing the signal. After purchasing the Antenna works perfect. She is very happy

I'm using this with The sun's PL-330. I'm in a noisy suburb with significant interference and tried this in my backyard as far away from the house as possible.It did boost the signal by a small, but fairly insignificant amount. The problem is that it also boosted the interference by a greater amount relative to the small improvement in reception. In other words, I received better audio using the telescopic antenna built into my PL-330.If you're in a very low noise area, this may offer you a slight improvement, but if interference is already an issue for you, this probably isn't the antenna for you.Will probably just need to get myself a magnetic loop antenna.

I use this antenna with the D-328 by the same brand and love it. Clamps on the antenna and it really is fun to use. As good or better as the expensive one that they advertise on Coast To Coast AMQuality build, great for all bands. Perfect size. Great buy if you are on a budget. Would be a great gift too.
