CXWXC Road/MTB Bike Pedals - Aluminum Alloy Bicycle Pedals

I bought a road bike off Facebook marketplace that had the clip in pedals. I am not ready for those so I jumped on Amazon and I found these. They are the color (red) I wanted and the price was good at about $22. I ordered them. Very easy to install and they work great! Nice flat wide pedal to get good power while pedaling. Plus the posts add great grip. I wear Vans skate shoes with these and they grip exceptionally well! Pay attention when installing because there is a left and right.

I’ve been riding my hybrid bike for about four years using the stock pedals, and I always struggled with my feet slipping and staying properly planted. There was also a noticeable crackling noise at times, especially when pedaling harder, and the overall feel just wasn’t very smooth or stable. After upgrading to these pedals, the difference was immediate. My feet stay firmly in place, and the wider platform provides much better support and control. Pedaling now feels significantly smoother and more efficient, and I no longer feel like I’m fighting to keep my foot positioned correctly. The bike even feels faster now, likely because of the improved efficiency and smoother bearings. They’re also lightweight and feel very well built. My feet are big and the stock peddle weren't wide enough and the plastic pegs were starting to wear down after a few rides. So I purchased the orange ones to match my bike. These work perfectly! Nice metal pegs and they're plenty wide for my size 14 shoes. I actually ended up buying another set for my wife's bike.

So as usual I read all the reviews, starting with the 1 star, My conclusion is if you need instructions, have to buy tools, and don't know where the washers go, you SHOULD NOT, be working on anything mechanical at all. The threads are the right size, the washer goes in the recess on the pedal arm, and you tighten it with an Allen wrench, it's really that simple! The bearings feel smooth and not tight. I was looking for cheap, and I got what I paid for, no complaints here. P. S always put grease or antisieze on the threads before installing. I only gave 4 stars because I don't know about longevity.

Amazing pedals . Replaced these on my giant roam 2, and wow massive upgrade . Great grip , traction. Very easy install . Highly recommended

This is the second pair I bought, not because the first pair was bad, but because I sold my old bike with the first pair on it, so as soon as got my new bike, the second pair became the first upgrade I made to it. I live how they look, and they are durable and properly sealed. My first pair lasted more than 2 years going through mud, rain, puddles, riding on the beach, getting them wet with salt water and then riding on dirt roads with lots of dust and sand, and never had an issue. That is why I decided to buy them for my new bike.

Product was everything I expected and more. The triple bearing design smooths transitions throughout the pedal stroke. Has great grip. And the recessed axle makes it more comfortable and natural. All in all a great product!
