This is far from what I expected Eloise's love story to look like but I still got very entertained in the end.

ブリジャートン家次男・ベネディクトのお話です。シンデレラのような話ですが、楽しく読めました。ヒロインのソフィーは妾の子であることで、継母にいじめられたり召使扱いされ、義姉妹にも下に見られています。ほんとに継母は嫌な女性です！しかしベネディクトと出会ってから人生が変わります。２年後に再会しますが、同じ立場ではなく、召使という立場で、本当の自分を明かすことができず、苦悩します。ベネディクトが母親に違う階級の人と結婚するとしたらどう思うか相談している親子の会話がジーンときました。１作目、２作目のヒーロー･ヒロインだった兄弟姉妹も家族が増えていたり、その後の様子も見られてよいです。８人兄弟なのであと５冊は読むことになりますが、時間を置かないで読み進めたいと思います。
