Why are there two different offers for battery life???

The 3 hour version is the original model from 2016. In 2017 they released a new version with 50% more battery life, but listed them both on the same page. Get the 4.5 hour version.

Is there an easy way to switch devices? Phone/Computer with the click of a button?

No, actually this is an important thing to know. The bluetooth will work with your IOS or Android phone, but it's not guaranteed to work with other devices. It's really luck of the draw on whether it will work with your computer. I was trying to get them to work with my tomtom watch, and they would not sync.

can i swimm with these

Washing it after a run is fine as I had been washing them however I recall Jabra doesn't recommend to swim with it. But clearly someone swim with it but not diving. Nonetheless, I would say swiming with it at your own risk.

Could this work with the left earbud alone? Or do I need both?

These headphones can work with one headphone but it must be the right (master) headphone.
