I need this to wear under a skirt in Florida in July** A: No, it's not hot. It's actually great at controlling sweat between your thighs. It will be helpful for a dress or skirt during a Florida summer. **Q: Do these cling to skirts?** A: No, none of the skirts I own have been a problem. These aren't like the older type of Skimmies, the are much more silky and slicker. I love them. **Q: How far down on the thigh do these hit? I'm looking for a pair that come closer to the knee.** A: These did not come close to my knee. More like the length of men's boxer briefs. **Q: Are these meant to be worn as underwear, or do you wear them on top of underwear?** A: Hello, These are meant to be worn a an undergarment. However, if you prefer you can always wear underwear as well. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super lightweight and slinky *by on Reviewed in the United States July 31, 2025* Perfect. Lightweight and slinky. I’ve purchased their similar ones but these are the best for hot weather and for clothing sliding over the material. The waistband is wider and super comfortable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for vacation with lots of walking! *by on Reviewed in the United States October 9, 2023* I wore these several times during a family vacation in NYC. We did SO MUCH walking. It was late June, so it was hot & humid. These are light weight. Didn't make me any warmer. Felt like silky biker shorts. Stayed in place - didn't roll down or move around on my thighs.I ordered a medium. I"m 4'11", about 130 pounds and carry a majority of my weight in my belly and tree-trunk thighs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ very comfortable, but found that the fabric can make certain ... *by on Reviewed in the United States March 28, 2017* Fits perfectly, very comfortable, but found that the fabric can make certain skirts ride up ## Frequently Bought Together - Jockey Women's Shapewear Skimmies Seamfree Ultralight Smoothing Cooling No-Chafe Slipshort - Maidenform Women's Tummy Control Thigh Slimming Shapewear: Mid-Thigh Shaping Shorts - Jockey Women's Shapewear Skimmies Seamfree Tummy Smoothing Mid-Waist Mid-Thigh Short --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/28405091-jockey-womens-shapewear-skimmies-seamfree-ultralight-smoothing-cooling-no-chafe](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/28405091-jockey-womens-shapewear-skimmies-seamfree-ultralight-smoothing-cooling-no-chafe) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
