Q: Is this gate ok to use outside on a deck?

We have had this gate installed outside on the front porch for 10 years. I have repainted it and replaced some of the nuts and bolts with rust proof ones but it’s held up beautifully and knock on wood, will not need replacement. Very pleased with this purchase!

Q: Can this gate be mounted on a 1” metal railing on one side and a wall on the other?

Hi, You would need the wrought iron kit to mount to the metal railing , and then the other side could mount to the wall.

Q: Is it correct that the white gate is 12 oz and the black gate is 5lbs?

They appear to be the same product. The weight seems about right for the black gate (which is a very nice product by the way). I think you should assume the 12 oz is incorrect.
