Milton10208 Milton 1020-8 1/2" NPT Metal FRL Filter Bowl

I'm using it for my dyi air compressor aftercooler and it basically removes all the water before it even goes in the tank.

This, along with a Milton 1/4" NPT fittings kit was super easy to install on my compressor. It does well separating water and oil from my lines while shooting paint with HVLP guns. I drain both the compressor and the filter after each use and it definitely pulls contaminants from my lines. Would recommend!

The media could not be loaded.  Does a good job filtering and trapping water. I'm using this on a 2 stage 175psi compressor right after an 11"x11" after cooler. The auto drain kicks on everytime the compressor shuts off and releases the pressure in the lines going to the tank. Very well built and no leaks.

Installed this just downstream of an aftercooler on my 60-gal air compressor to eliminate as much water as possible from entering my tank. This unit pulls a lot of water out...after cycling the compressor twice (completely empty, full, empty, full) no water came out of the drain at the bottom of the tank when opening the valve. This is a 2-stage compressor so the temp difference between air pump outlet (300`)and tank inlet (70`) creates a lot of condensed moisture. This unit seems to do a fantastic job of keeping water out of the tank. There are some tasks that would still require further drying, but you probably can't beat this for performance & price.

Returned for lack of QUAILTY, replacing older setup, no sight glass, don't think it will hold up for very long. Not the same Milton that I have used for years!

I did place this between air compressor and tank check valve. I added 10 ft of hose between Compressor and this filter to help cool the air. When the compressor shuts off, this drains automatically. It caputes most of the water but not all. There are better colling designs but I don't need to empty the tank valve after evey use.

Perfect for the repair we needed for our equipment.

well worth the price... i live in a humid area and moisture is a problem especially if im running my blast cabinet or grinders... pretty much removed all the water from my air hoses... i also like the auto drain function too...

Drainage works well . Keep condensation out of the compressor tank

I used this on my air compressor after my cooler before it comes to the tank. Works great as it dumps every cycle. Every time the pressure drops below 5 psi it automatically dumps so it is great for this use.

Seems like a good piece little odd the cup has a spot looks like for a sight glass wanting another 25 dollars for the bracket is out rageous
