Regency Ivy League Captain Chair with Casters, Burgundy

These were a gift to my parents. The burgundy color on the actual chair is more of a brown with a burgundy hue and the chair is cushier. My parents loved them so we kept them. They are nice and well made. Excellent lumbar support. A good buy for the $$. Also very simple to put together - took me about 90 minutes for all four (I lack fine motor skills and am very slow though..... overall extremely happy.

I wasn't expecting such high quality given the price point. I bought this chair for my 88-yr old father. He was having trouble pulling himself up to the dining table. His first comment was how comfortable it was, and how supportive it was for his back. I assembled the chair for him, and thought the process was straightforward and simple. This is a very well made, solid, and handsome chair.

I ordered four of these chairs and they're definitely worth every penny. Nice solid construction and the castors are sufficient to do the job. I must say it's a very good value for the money. I recommend these chairs highly.

This was harder to put together than anticipated and the wheels don't move well when you are sitting in the chair. Maybe that's a feature and not a bug, but I like to roll around. That's one reason I bought the chair. Also, the burgundy looks black, not at all like the picture. I complained that I had gotten a black chair, and the company instantly sent a new chair, so customer service is good. But the new chair still looks like black to me. I kept the chair because it looks good, is the right weight for what I wanted, and moves fairly easily as long as you're not sitting in it.

This chair is very comfortable. Unfortunately this chair did not last. We purchased this chair in July 2018 and it collapsed while sitting on it in July 2021. Three years life is not acceptable for a piece of furniture. This chair should have lasted many years if it was not such poor quality.

The drawing to show you how to assembly is not always clear.

Kitchen table seating

Chair looks ok, not up to size standards but is like setting on a BRICK, Seat is Hard, Hard, hard. hard, and harder.
