Beautiful color, but the package was already opened
The color I received was indeed Perylene Maroon, although the title stated Alizarin Crimson. The color is beautiful, and I really like it, but the condition of the product was disappointing. The paint was already opened, and some of it had leaked out. There were also marks on the paint as if someone had pressed on it. The size is small, just as described but you definitelycan fill 2 half pans with it!, but the main issue is that it arrived in this condition.

Superb Intense Colour
Wonderful water-colour paint. One word of caution if you haven't used Artists Colours. you will find the colour much more intense than with budget paint. This means your paintings will have more zing. And also you'll probably find you don't use so much paint, which will offset the extra you have to pay for Artist's colours.

Good variations of tone possible
Beautiful dark green. You can vary this colour quite a bit between a lighter version to nearly black/green. Good for dark waters or shrubs in shade. Delivery was as promised.

Falsche Erwartung
Ich bin immer sehr zufrieden mit den Aquarellfarben von Winsor & Newton. Natürlich ist es riskant eine Farbe nach einer gewissen Vorstellung im Internet zu kaufen. Diese Farbe ist nicht was ich erwartet hatte. Sie ist weitaus erdiger und ohne jegliche Goldpartikel, was aber eigentlich auch in den Bildern erkennbar ist. Für mich persönlich ein Fehlkauf, aber es war auch meine eigene Schuld.
