They are doing well and look healthy. **Q: When’s the best time to plant ?** A: The RHS advises between Autumn and Spring. They flower from December / January so planting then will ensure you a good display of their flowers. However, there’s nothing to stop you planting now - just be aware they won’t be flowering until Winter and mulch them to stop them drying out. **Q: Do you know the height and spread when fully grown?** A: About 11/2 feet high with a similar spread **Q: Can they thrive in containers?** A: I have never grown one in a pot, but I shouldn’t think it would be a problem as long as watered regular even in winter but sparingly then. Update 2023 with a few photos *by J***B on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 April 2021* The plants themselves looked strong and healthy, (one has a lovely little flower )They were extremely well packed in their own little "greenhouse", which has proved handy to use again for six other special begonia tubers, I'm growing for the first time.They were dispatched quickly and arrived, I think, earlier than expected. Very pleased all round. Highly recommended and might go back for more, if my fingers prove even a little green !17th February 2023 UpdateI have a tiny postage stamp front garden approximately 11' x 12 and a half feet... with a 30ft tall walnut tree in a corner that I have had since it was just a stick ! The tree secretes 'juglone', which kills most things ... all my lavender that I propagated, died. So, to be on the safe side I planted up the hellebores in large pots and grouped them around the base, but kept an eye on them for the first signs of my tree becoming an arboreal serial killer...., butttttttt .... they loved the shade and are coming up bigger and better this year ! This autumn I will look on youtube and, with heart in mouth and great trepidation I will divide them !
