Fantastic and super easy to install!
From opening to package to complete installation was about 15-20 minutes. It is simple and easy to do, all hardware included. I had the WORST tap water, that tastes like a pool and old Listerine.Once this was installed, the cold water is absolutely delicious! Not even a faint smell or taste of the crap usually in my faucet.Just keep in mind, this is ONLY for filtering the cold water, it does not connect to the hot pipes!

Water Tastes Good, But Could Use Better Installation Instructions
I recently moved to a city with city-supplied water, and noticed the taste was not good. I tested the tap water (using test strips) and some of the 16 items tested for were slightly elevated, but all within EPA requirements. Still, the taste was not good, I assume due to disinfecting chlorine. So I bought the IcePure under-sink filtration system.INSTALLATIONThe installation user guide (which was attached to the product page) looks professional and thus complete. But I found the installation instructions insufficient, for two reasons:1. While they advise/require at least four inches under the filter (due to future filter replacement), they don't advise how much space to leave on either side of the filter. To avoid bending the inflow and outflow lines too much, I recommend at least four inches on the sides.2. The filter and the wall mount ("filter head") arrive attached. After you drill the two holes for the filter head, make your life easier by detaching the filter from the wall mount, and take the top of the wall mount off (it easily snaps off) to expose the wall mount's attachment holes. Then put the wall mount on the screws and make the screws snug. And reattach the filter.Note that once the wall mount and filter are secured under the sink, the plumbing work is fairly easy (although there's limited space usually under the sink to work within). If you've ever replaced a kitchen faucet, this installation is much easier.I did use the supplied teflon tape on my connections even though the instructions did not call for it.WATER QUALITYI tested the filtered water, and it brought down some of my tested values. Based on the EPA limits (there aren't that many...), I believe the tap water is safe to drink, so the IcePure filtered water should be safer. The taste is also much better than the unfiltered tap.WATER FLOWThis wasn't a factor when I looked at water filters, but the flow rate is indistinguishable from the flow rate before I attached the water filter. Much appreciated!CUSTOMER SUPPORTAfter I installed the water filter, I emailed their support group, and asked two questions:1. What are the included stickers for? (There are twelve monthly stickers, and stickers numbered 1 ro 31, presumably days.)Customer support reply: "You can contact Amazon to return the product within 30 days of using it." Huh?2. How will I know when to change the water filter?Customer support reply: "According to our experience, if the filtered water tastes bad and the water flow is significantly reduced, we think it is time to replace the filter." Helpful.Overall, the IcePure water filter is a clear improvement over my city's tap water. As long as the filter lasts a long time, I'll be a happy customer.

This is a perfect fit.
This water filter had everything needed to install it. It took about fifteen minutes to complete the job. The filter life is great so I won't need to replace it any time soon. My water tastes fantastic now. And, I feel more confident about drinking my tap water. Not going to be buying bottled water anymore.

Great Tasting Water--Great Value--Impressive Flow-Rate!
I've had various filters over the past 15 years. All have performed relatively well. Everyone claims similar spec's for purification performance and all back it up with independent testing certification. All I can say is that water from any of these filters tastes much better than staight from the tap. Based on my experience, the differences between these various filter products boils down to how long each filter lasts and the subsequent replacement costs. In this case, the Icepure filter claims to be good for 20,000 gal and replacement filters are about $30 (as of 10/22/2022 https://smile.amazon.com/ICEPURE-WFS5300A-Capacity-Filtration-Fluoride/dp/B08Q3KXS3S). By comparison, I was using the Woder product, where the filter is good for about 8500 gal and replacements are about $50. Before that, I was using the ‎Aquasana 2-stage filter that is supposed to last for 500 gal, but the system beeps at you every 6 months to change the filter regardless (flow rate slows down dramatically after that), and replacement filters are $55 (last bought in 2018--currently unavailable). The last Woder filter I put in was in 2017 and a couple of weeks ago water started tasting bad. Time to replace it. If their filter life is roughly 8500 gal, and it lasted roughly 6 years, then our average daily consumption is about 3.9 gal. I would have guessed closer to 2.5 gal per day, but whatever. At a consumption rate of 3.9 gal per day, we should be able to get 14 years of use out of this Icepure filter. I'll be happy with 5 years. We'll see.One key difference with this Icepure product is the flow rate. All of the other filters we had gave a little stream, and you get these little dinky filter faucets that run on dinky plastic supply lines, and it all just works because the flow rate is rather low. Hook up the Icepure to one of these, and it's like a firehose! My dinky little faucet just could not keep up. Before anything broke, I bought this faucet: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07TGJDMWL You can hook that one to your regular water supply line, and it can handle it. It also comes with standard steel-braided supply hose--none of that dinky plastic line junk. This faucet handles the Icepure filter beautifully. Don't get the dinky faucet.Bottom line: this filter produces good-tasting water, the system is much cheaper than many others (both initial cost and replacement filters), and should last for multiple years (per their own specs). Plus, the flow rate is awesome! Two thumbs up.
