I began making candles for my own use about 2 years ago, starting with mason jars: cheap and functional. But I began, soon, to long for an ATTRACTIVE candle jar. I found these, and have been delighted with them. They hold the same wax as a ½ pint (8 oz) mason jar, plus a bit. I make candles of 210g coconut/soy/fragrance, which fit perfectly. The ridges on the glass break up the candlelight into lovely patterns, and the plastic-gasket stoppers are easy to use, and close off the air supply to the candle quickly—and no screwing motions to offend aged wrists (🙄)! As the stopper has a "bubble" airspace about the center, there is no risk of soot deposition when the candle goes out. However, I must offer a single caveat: I once bought some wick stickers that were total garbage, and when the melt pool got low, they gave way and the wick drifted to the side, where it heated the side of the jar, which then shattered, leaving a pool of melted wax and VERY sharp shards of glass. Not the jar's fault, but if you want to use them for candles, be aware of the risk. Otherwise, you'll enjoy them, and they come with a set of attractive labels and rustic string for attaching. I find these labels also attractive, and useful for distinguishing between different scents with the same coloring.

These were perfect little jars to fill with candy/nuts for my coworkers for Christmas. Topped them off with pretty little Christmas ribbon!

This product is so good. We usually do not take the time to leave reviews but we were so sad to see that it had been discontinued. The glass is thick and sturdy and superrr cute. perfect for favors. We used them to carry our small shower steamers and it worked PERFECT. Please put this product back out on the market!

These little jars are perfect for my herbs. I grow a lot of my own herbs and flowers I can easily store them dried in these and the airtight tops keep them safely stored.

These jars are very small and wanted to return, I would have to pay over $20 to return only getting $16 back. It DOES NOT say that on the return policy. I'm finding this a lot lately. Very dissapointed
