Great wooden handle!!❤️ I bought a 3 piece set with wooden handles because I am NOT a fan OF the one's with just the two "wire" type handles! The 3 piece aet was the same as this one but rather shallow in "depth"! So, I got this one for the depth and bigger size TO handle bigger loads of pasta and the like!!❤️👌 Totally worth it!!😁 Highly recommend, sturdy and easy to use. Cleaning is a bugger but just takes a minute and good lighting because the holes are so tiny. But I absolutely LOVE the big wooden handles for my arthritic and numb hands!! ❤️👍 Great for bigger loads!! I'd definitely buy again!!❤️👌😁 Can't speak for how long it'll last yet but fingers crossed!🤞 Seems to be quality construction!! 🙌

Bent after filled with heavy food.
It does the job but bent just ahead of the handle when filling with wet pasta. I don't think it will break but the chef is leery of it now. Time will tell.

You may laugh but... I use this to help give my curly hair a BIG volume boost!
I know it sounds ridiculous. I see it lol BUT!! If you already style your hair upside down with a diffuser, try this! Instead of plopping your hair on the diffuser to dry, while upside down place your hair inside the strainer and hold the diffuser onto the outside of the strainer. Since the strainer is keeping all your hair in place, it'll actually create more volume. I thought it was ridiculous too before trying it then now it's just how I diffuse dry it. Would never diffuse my curly hair without it anymore!

This strainer is large and therefore, great for many usage. I have used it for flour and also to drain pasta after cooking

This strainer has a fine mesh screen
I was looking for a strainer with a more course mesh. In the description it said nothing about being a fine mesh strainer so I thought I had found what I wanted. But I was disappointed when I got this strainer and it was fine mesh. Doesn't anyone sell a strainer with the more course mesh anymore?
