No longer covers white/gray hair
I've used this brand for years but as my hair turns white across more of my head, it doesn't manage to cover the white/gray, or rather, doesn't manage to turn the color into the one promised. So I've had to give up on Clairol "permanent" 100% coverage as well as Garnier Fructise and L'Oreal excellence etc. I'm searching for products that do reliably dye my white hair some shade of brown. Advice?

Works great covers gray lasts a long time leaves hair soft shiny manageable! Highly recommend!

5G is the right Med. brown
Correction: Nice and Easy 5G is the perfect medium brown. The picture on it is of the tan girl with soft curls. If you want a true Med brown this is the one. Not the picture above. It covers my grays and the three tone high light is very subtle but so natural no one believes I die my hair. Clairol, you finally got it right. Hope this is around and doesn't change. This is a keeper color: 5G And my hair stays soft even though I have baby fine hair. This is very natural color of brown. [NOT 6 G.]
