My 3 year old son has had a chronic cough, asthma, and susceptibility to viral infections for over two years. Add a very small amount of boiling water and let the alcohol evaporate for a minute. Pour in a little bit of honey and stir it until it melts. Add in some cooler water and drink! We do it nightly and he asks for his "honey drink" before bed. When we finally went to the pulmonary specialist, his symptoms had been gone for three months and he was not needing any medication. I almost cancelled the appointment because we didn't need it, but instead I brought in an empty bottle of the mushrooms and told the doctor to recommend it to her other sick kids.
