A good replacement battery
I got this for a Wouxun KG-2UV that was given to me. The original factory battery was at end of life after over 12 years of use, and I was hoping this battery would be a good choice. It was. It fit perfectly. After the initial charge, I used it exclusively for several charging cycles to see how long it would really last, which is something you should do with lithium batteries anyway. I am impressed. It lasted, with my type of use, between 8 to 18 hours using high power for transmit and also in receiving mode when I just want to listen. The lesser time would indicate that I used it more for transmit than receiving and vice versa. This is on par with my other brands of radios made by the big three. I am going to buy another one for a spare.
