Life saving tool for any first aid kit
These things work fantastic! Do yourself a favor and get one for your car! Small arm or leg? No problem. Big arm or big leg? No problem. This also allows for you to control how much pressure you want to stop a bleed - pressure dressing vs tourniquet. Honestly think they need to be standard in every cars first aid kit. If you know how amazing these things are then you know!

Must have for IFAK or support pack
Must have for anyone with kids. They pack great in any med kit and are lightweights. Can be used on adults kids or animals so perfectly versatile. Material is quality elastic rubber and I don’t question their effectiveness. The packaging is thick and has tear points for easy deployment.

Useful tool for more than just limbs
Excellent item for any first aid kit. It can be used as a pressure band for dressings, a tourniquet, and used as a sling. People might say it's not very good for a tourniquet but it's damn good, you have fool proof instructions and it can be used on animals as well! Overall impressive but 1 star off because it has a tendency to get stuck in IFAKs.

Versatile, Compact, and Effective – A Solid Addition to Any Kit
I bought several of these SWAT-T Orange Tourniquets to place in all of my med kits—home, car, hiking bag, and range bag. While it’s important to note upfront that the SWAT-T is not TCCC-approved for combat use, I felt with its versatility it had a place in my trauma / ifak kits setup for a variety of practical and emergency scenarios. ✅ Key Features: Highly Compact & Lightweight – Folds flat and takes up minimal space; perfect for EDC or minimalist kits. Bright Orange Color (also comes in black for a more tactical look) – Easily visible in low-light or chaotic environments. Multipurpose Design – Can serve as a pressure dressing, tourniquet, or even for splinting. Simple Application – Stretch, Wrap, and Tuck. No mechanical parts to fail. Pediatric & K9 Friendly – Can be effectively used on smaller limbs where bulkier tourniquets like the CAT-7 struggle. 🔍 SWAT-T vs CAT-7: CAT-7: TCCC-approved, windlass-based, and highly effective for self-application in high-stress situations—especially on upper extremities. Bulkier and more rigid. SWAT-T: Not ideal for one-handed self-application but excels in compactness, versatility, and use on small limbs, including children or pets. Great as a backup or secondary tourniquet, especially when space is limited. 🛠️ Best Use Case: The SWAT-T shines as a supplemental or backup tourniquet in personal first aid kits (IFAKs), especially when you want something light and easy to pack. It's also ideal for low-profile carry, pediatric applications, or wilderness settings where multipurpose tools are key. ⚠️ Disclaimer: This review is for informational purposes only and is not medical advice. Always seek professional training before using any medical device, including tourniquets. The effectiveness of any tourniquet depends on proper application, and I do not assume any responsibility for how this product is used. Consult with medical professionals and certified trainers before relying on any trauma device in emergencies.

Garrot élastique multifonction (orange)
Bonjour. Looks good tourniquet, compact size.
I did some research and this looks like a good tourniquet. Other's I considered are the SOF Tactical Tourniquet Wide (SOFTT-W), the Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) Gen 7, and the Israeli Bandage. I bought the SWAT-T, and some Israeli bandages. The SOFTT-W and CAT also look good. The SWAT-T can also be used as a compression bandage (elastic wrap). I hope it never needs to be used. It's heavier than it looks. In its packet, it weighs 116g, and measures 105x60x18mm. The packet has 8 easy to tear nooks, 1 on each short end, and 3 on each long end, which will make it very quick to deploy. The packet it comes in seems heavy duty, that it won't puncture or abrade easily, protecting and keeping the tourniquet clean. The packet includes instructions on it, with diagrams, and it looks like the tourniquet should have instructions printed on it and diamonds that turn into squares when you get the correct tension. I bought it for bike packing. In case I have a massive stack. I'm not sure how suitable it would be for hiking to treat snake bites, it may function similar to snake bite bandages. This would need to be checked with someone more qualified. It may be on the heavy side for hiking. I like the compact size and what looks to be easy to use even for someone unskilled.
