It claims the crisp sharpness and fast drying of a gel ink but with the smoothness, waterproofness and longevity of an oil based ink. Jetstream ink is held in high regard by Jet Pens....and they'd know. Prior to this, my absolute favorite fine-tip Parker refill has been the Ohto Flash-Dry Gel 0.5mm. It's a pleasure to write with. The best. But.....they are hard to come by and expensive to boot at $5 per refill cartridge. So...I needed a more economic alternative. How did the Jetstream Prime Twist refill stack up? I am pleased to report, it's as good or better than my beloved Ohto Flash-Dry ink. No smudges, smooth, crisp lines. It's really quite good. I was very surprised that an oil-based ink could write as nice as this. I will definitely be buying this one in the future. You won't be disappointed if you give this one a try.
