The butter dish is nice. It looks nice. It's made well. It holds butter well. It's what you expect from a butter dish. What really stands out for me is what comes with the butter dish - great service. I had a little nick in the one I received. Hey, stuff happens. Nobody would see it once there was butter in the dish. I wrote the company though to let them know in case they were keeping quality control records on their manufacturer and to ask if the chip presented any sort of a hygiene issue with residue maybe being stuck in the chip. These folks (specifically Olga) went way above my expectations to "make things right." They (she) also did so with politeness and humanity. This tiny little chip wasn't just another thing to take care of as a part of some mundane job in a boring office somewhere. It was really nice to work with someone that had such pride in their product and so much respect for their customer. Thank you!

As I have heard from other that reviews have occasionally been repurposed, this review is for the item currently titled "Granrosi Farmhouse Butter Dish - Beautiful Butter Container With Wooden Lid Keeps Your Butter Soft and Enhances Your Kitchen Decor". We needed a new catproof butter dish after adopting two new kittens. They discovered the old butter dish and helped themselves. After a bit of looking, I settled on this one. I'm happy to say that the lid is very will fitted. Most humans should be able to remove the lid without issues, though it might be a challenge for those with, say, arthritis. The cats won't even try to remove it, so I'm guessing the seal is airtight or close to it. The materials are solid and can survive a drop from the top of the refrigerator if needed. Cleaning is easy, and the design contains butter that melts on a hot day. I don't think I'll need to purchase one of these again for a very long time, but I would certainly recommend it highly.

This is the cutest butter dish I have ever seen!!!! Seriously it’s like I’m back in my grandma’s country farm kitchen and you can just smell the warm fresh rolls coming out of the oven on a sunny summer day just looking at the darn thing. Well built. High quality. Heavy duty. Fits perfectly in my kitchen. I didn’t want plastic and I didn’t want a typical glass butter dish. I wanted something unique that would match my kitchen. It’s earthy, it’s warming, it’s cute, and it’s high end. It’s the only butter dish you’ll ever buy. Also, it’s from a small family owned business. Buy local, buy from a small business, buy from a family. Stop feeding the corporate monopolies... except of course I did buy this though Amazon... do what you can I guess!

Really love this butter dish! It's nostalgic, useful and very attractive. After breaking two ceramic Le Creuset butter dishes (to the tune of almost $50 each), we decided that a ceramic butter dish wasn’t exactly the right solution for us. We have granite countertops and ceramic, when dropped onto it from any height, means bad news for the ceramic. This enamel butter dish is wonderful. We have some vintage enamel pots and pans, from my husband’s mother and my grandmother, and this butter dish is a constant reminder of those warm feelings of our family time together. The wooden top helps to keep the butter soft, even when sitting out on our granite counter, near a window in the middle of winter. Item was delivered quickly - even in the midst of heavy snow and an arctic level freeze!

Excellent quality

Great quality, exactly as described. It looks great, and I love that this dish has the butter IN the container and a lid covering it. Many butter dishes sit on a flat surface and then a larger container is placed over the stick of butter onto the base. This is perfect for our family. And oh so easy to clean!
