Beautiful. Good quality for the money I spent.

I originally purchased two of the items. They are very nice. Sadly, one of them dropped onto a granite countertop and shattered. I ordered a replacement, which is the one in this review. It is nice, just don't drop it.

I received two defective items in a row - the first had a knick in the glass in the bowl section, the second had a large piece missing from the lid. The items were well wrapped in bubble wrap and this damage did not occur during shipping - they were this way prior to being wrapped in that bubble wrap. It feels like someone is trying to sell seconds and hoping people won't complain. Having to return the item TWICE is a pain and not something customers should have to deal with. ETA: This bowl matches exactly what I wanted, so I figured I'd give it one more go at ordering despite the issues with the previous 2 orders - but this time I picked a different seller with a longer shipping time so it would come out of a different Amazon warehouse. My third order was lost by Amazon somehow along the way (lovely). And the 4th order the lid doesn't fit correctly! THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING! What the heck is going on with these things and these sellers??

I was looking for something different to hold butter on the counter. I really enjoyed this until I dropped the lid on my tile floor when removing from the dish washer, it shattered. I still use the bottom for snacks and leftovers.

Great sugar bowl for my coffee bar. Glass is thick so not worried about having to be delicate so that it doesn't break.

My review is for a bit of an odd use of this sugar bowl/candy dish, but it works perfectly to hold dental appliances in their cleaning solution. I searched high and low for a covered glass dish to keep my nighttime retainers in their cleaning solution during the day and I couldn't find a single product advertised for this use. So I decided to search for tiny candy dishes instead and came across this perfect solution. Just so you are aware as pictures can be deceiving, this dish is very small, I put a face cream jar beside it in one of the photos for size reference. The price on this item seems to fluctuate a lot, the current price is over $20 and it was around $12 when I purchased it, quite honestly, I think either of those prices are a bit high for what it is. There are imperfections in the glass and for such a high price for such a tiny dish I would expect a much more consistent and flawless product. However, I paid the price and chose to keep the dish, so it was worth it to me and the imperfections do not interfere with it's performance for my specific needs. So, all in all, I'm still very happy with my purchase and I'm glad I found this cute little dish!

This thing looks and feel like glass should. I use to put sugar cubes in and set it on the table. It looks really cool

received two items, both edges are damaged, the sharpness could hurt finger, don’t dare to use. could be defected product from factory or supplier, no broken pieces found in the package. using metal file and sand paper to reshape and polish, it can still be used, just look ugly. it is not smooth inside the bowl, we can see the scratches from outside, this happens to both two bowls, the quality is much worse than 2-dollar shop glassware. anyway i will try to use it because i have several other Anchor hocking products,e.g., baking glass pot with very good quality, still trust the brand.
