Worked Perfectly
Purchased this because was upgrading to a Double Din in my 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse and i didn't want to cut off the factory radio harness and wanted to purchase a connector that plugs into the factory radio harness. There is two different ones a female and male. The one that is factory is a male and this one is a female that plugs into the factory radio harness. It fits perfectly and couldn't ask for anything more for the price as it is fantastic. The wire that is supplied in the harness is heavy duty gauge wiring (maybe 12 or 16) but is solidly built if you know what i mean. *The wiring colors do not exact match the factory colors but everything is the same.* Fantastic purchase and couldn't ask for anything better. If anyone is wondering the wiring colors and what there are for before purchasing, they are below: 12V Ignition/ACC - RED 12V Battery/Memory - Yellow Ground - Black Power Antenna - Blue Amp Turn-On - Blue/White Amp Gound - Black/White Illumination - Orange Dimmer - Orange/White Phone Mute - Brown Right Front (+) - Gray Right Front (-) - Gray/Black Left Front (+) -White Left Front (-) - White/Black Right Rear (+) Violet Right Rear (-) - Violet/Black Left Rear (+) - Green Left Rear (-) - Green/Black

It just works.
My car is a 2000 Mitsubishi Libero JDM, which is a Mirage or Lancer station wagon. (Thank you for your sympathy) And this worked flawlessly. When installing my aftermarket Android head unit, I followed the color coding on the supplied packaging and soldered the ends to the connectors on the stereo and it just plugged in like it belonged there. All the speakers worked, included the rear 2 which are in an overhead housing, which were not working before. Apparently the previous installer had not done his homework when connecting the previous stereo. Recommend for its benefits in installation and overall quality.

Correct item, easy installation, good experience
The adapter was exactly what I needed to install a new stereo in my 2002 Mitsubishi Galant. It was a correct fit and worked on the first try. I have never installed a car stereo before, so I was pleased at how easy it was. This wiring harness plugs into the car (more precisely, the plug inside the dashboard which goes to the car), and the wire ends attach to the wire ends of the new car stereo. Color coding is standardized for the wires, so I just had to connect all the wires to the corresponding wire ends on the plug that came with the new stereo. To connect the stripped wire ends, I used crimp connectors and a crimping tool. Other options include twisting the wire ends together and covering with electrical tape, or using twist-on wire caps. But I think the crimp connectors are probably the easiest and most reliable way of doing it.
