No, “it’s not too small”
I too thought the belt was way to small. It’s not, they stretch and rightfully so ensure proper belt tension.

Works as expected.
Does the job exactly as it's supposed to. Unsure about longevity at this point.

Ordered what we thought we needed and it was perfect.

Wore down after a couple months
Worked well starting out but now the spin in my vaccum is slow to start which the belt is getting weak. Not high use either.

Fit and works
Right fit and it works. Vacuum performs as new. What more could I ask of this?

Too small, I stretched a lot, hard to put: it is a deceptive advertisement. Buy Bissel one
Sooo, after so many efforts between stretching it and pulling the brush with the belt in its location, the brush does not turn because the belt is too tight. I bought a new brush from Bissel. Im reordering from Bissel this time today the genuine part 1601961. This belt will fit except that they did not plan the brush size: it ends being way too short. I hope I did not damage my vacuum: the spinning metal rod. Please avoid: lose money, time, and your carpets like mine are still waiting to be extensively vaccuum from your pet hair. I forgot to read the reviews when I ordered it. Deceptive product, shame on Amazon to keep it on their marketplace.
