I know. We’ve tried it. If it wasn’t for my ordering of this on Christmas Day following a coughing fit my hubby had (after testing positive for Covid), we might never have known just how ill he was. He’s now turning the corner in critical care. Highly recommend this as it helped save his life. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little device, good accuracy and quick readings. Perfect for quick measurements! *by R***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 May 2021* The media could not be loaded.  This pulse oximeter is one of the best I've used so far, especially considering the price. In summary, it is well built, lightweight, very portable, easy to read, accurate and reads the oxygen saturation and heart rate quite quickly. I've tried more than 4 pulse oximeters until now, and none of them were this precise and quick to determine the oxygen saturation in someone's blood. Verified the results with other oximeters I have simultaneously and it is quite accurate.The device is 35mm tall 36mm wide and 60mm in depth, so it's very small and easy to carry around. It weighs only 35 grams without the batteries. It uses 2x AAA batteries, and batteries are provided for initial use. Of course you're free to use whatever make of battery you want, as long as it's a standard AAA. Once placed on the finger correctly, it stays on nicely thanks to the firm springs. If you want to monitor your O2 levels for conditions like obstructive sleep apnoea, it may be a good idea to invest in some rechargeable AAA batteries and a battery charger as the battery probably will not last too long for continuous use. Mine does not sound an alarm, so keep that in mind if you intend to use it for similar purposes. The device turns off automatically if there's no reading detected by the sensor. If you want to carry it around your neck, the accessories for that is provided as well. Possibly a useful feature for healthcare professionals. It grips the finger stronger than the rest of the products I've tried, therefore resulting in a more accurate and quicker reading. But tight grip doesn't mean it's not comfortable. On the contrary, the silicon layer inside the device makes it soft to touch and quite comfy.The screen is quite clear and easy to read. It has a white background (illuminated with white LEDs) and dark letters. It's very easy to read in the dark as well, so if you want to take a quick measurement when it's dark, no issues. If the oxygen level goes below 94%, the screen starts flashing, warning you that your O2 levels may be lower than safe levels. Same goes for high heart rate as well. Also a cool feature is that once device starts measuring, if you short press the power button once, it turns the screen upside down. So if you're reading someone else's oxygen levels / heart rate, this feature makes it so much easier.The only issue I found is that the bottom part of the oximeter is not entirely flat. The edges are a bit curved. As you need to keep the hand steady so the sensor can get the correct readings, this makes it a bit difficult to put your hand and finger flat on a table.Long story short, this is a great little addition to anyone's health monitoring tools!Here's some technical details I've found so far. The data sheet of the product specifies that the O2 saturation sensitivity is ±2% when saturation is between 70%-100%. This is a good enough estimation for home use. Pulse rate sensitivity is ±2BPM. The alarm (screen warning flash) values are set to 94% saturation and heart rate is between 50 and 130. Any values outside this range will cause corresponding value to flash on screen. The product I received did not sound an alarm besides the screen flashing.
