How hard would it be to replace the light source in these with a non-solar one? Can they be opened/closed easily?

The solar light source is not permanently attached and can be removed so I think it would be pretty easy to replace it with a different light source.

Can these solar lanterns hang on the hook in my garden? How is the pattern would be?

Yes, they can hang from shepherds hooks or even from small branches. The hook is removable. One sun pattern. One moon. I love them!

Its beautiful. I have one sitting on patio table and the other hanging in a small tree. Love them. So pretty.

I wanna eight lanterns to palce around pool, does this moon star pattern pretty on paving tiles?
