Lulu is obsessed with this toy. She's a rough chewer, and this is the only toy she has left that squeaks. She did tear the rope off, but otherwise very durable.

This dog toy is great! I bought it as a gift for a German Shepard who loves to chew. The rope on the corn only last a couple weeks but the corn itself is still going strong.

Giving this toy 4 starts only because it's described as indestructible and it took my pup 30 minutes to chew the rope completely off. The rest of the toy is holding up well. It's a bit big for my smaller, 11.5-pound pup, but she still gives it her best chew.

The dog I bought this for I thought it would be good for her to chew on since the description was aggressive chewers. I thought maybe my family friend dog would be anxious and this could be the perfect toy. The material is mixed emotions on reviewing. She loved it for a week until the material broke on the rope. Appeared to be bitten up more than the toy itself she was not able to chew on. Unable to squeak and it was very hard for her so I guess maybe it should be specific not for dogs smaller than I’m not sure what age pet this could be good for. A smaller toy was purchased for her at petco in store. This toy was nice to take out with her on her vet days but quality only lasted her about a month before it was all torn up. Materials seemed nice before the damage lol.

As a result, the overall appeal and entertainment value of the chew toy are noticeably reduced. Despite the disappointment with the squeaker, the chew toy itself remains functional for my Scottish Terrier's chewing needs. The durability and ability to withstand his chewing habits are commendable. Nevertheless, the lack of a working squeaker does impact the overall experience and diminishes the toy's appeal. In conclusion, the Dog Chew Toy with Squeaker provides a mixed experience for dog owners. While it exhibits adequate sturdiness for moderate to intense chewing, the squeaker's durability is a concern. The initial excitement and engagement diminish once the squeaker is destroyed. Considering these factors, I give this chew toy a three-star rating. My dog has a habit of tearing up toys in just a few minutes, so far, this toy has lasted a few days, the rope is already showing signs of wear. I wish there was a way to attach a new rope when this one goes... She is a mid-sized dog with a LOT of energy, and she's very destructive, digging, chewing on things she's not supposed to, etc. This helps with that, she can play with it for a long time, we don't have to always 'check' to see if she is tearing something up. She loves grabbing it by the rope and swinging it around the sides of her head, it doesn't hurt her, and she LOVES this toy. Out of ALL of the toys that we have bought her, and that she loved, THIS ONE has been top dog to her. We love watching her play with it, it also wears her out and she'll then take a nap, which is always good. Oh yeah, the size if PERFECT for a mid-sized to a large dog, I'm not sure about any smaller dogs. She can squeak the squeaker on it fine too, but not at first, she had to 'find out' how to do it on her own. As far as chewing it into little pieces like one person has said, I can't attest to that, and I hope that is not the case. I will return if she does end up chewing it into pieces, because she in known far and wide for that! :)

This is a great toy. I bought this for my dachshund, and it's still going strong after 2.5 years. The string part came off after a few months, but that's fine. This is always her go-to toy.

Overall, this is a great chew toy; not to hard, actually pretty soft to the squeeze in your hand so it's soft on the gums of your pet in attempt to act as a toothbrush. The cob is actually durable (so far) and my dog loves it. However, the squeaker didn't last 30 seconds. Upon inspection of its failure it was plain to see the manufacturer focused more on the toy than the squeaker as is was just barely poked into the end of the cob with little to nothing in the way of a retention area to keep it inside the toy. it just popped right on out after a coupe of squeezes. Nonetheless, the ear of corn is my dog's favorite toy, for now...

I bought this for my 10lb shih-poo (who had destroyed every toy) for Christmas, it is now February, and the most that had happened is the rope had been frayed. But the rest of the toy is perfectly intact. I feel the reviews saying is didn't last very long is due to larger dog breeds with stronger jaws. But for small breeds it's great!

Perfect size for Boston terrier too. Loves it.

My dug loves this. It’s very heavy and he’s small but he stills plays with it. I smear peanut butter on it as a fun treat.
