Great!
I installed this myself, and am satisfied with the product. I have installed a few of these before and I think the quality of this brand is good. It's pliable and has a bit of stretch, so it's not easily creased or torn when handling it. The measurements were also correct. I had no issues with installation; it's just a project that you have to take in steps and have patience. I used a water/soap mixture and squeegee and it looks great. We have this great wall of sliders that I love for the natural light, but not so much for privacy. Our house is on a hill and on the side of the sidewalk (in a very busy neighborhood), so any time someone walks by, they can see into our house if they want to. And the two houses behind us are up higher, so they can see in as well. During the day, there's usually some glare that helps, but at night, it's a direct view into our living room. So I wanted something that would be good for both day and night, which took away the tinting or reflective options as those don't help with night privacy. Also, one of the houses behind us decided to paint their brick a bright white the week they moved in, and when the sun hits it, it blinds us when we're sitting on the couch in our living room. This film has solved the privacy concerns as well as the bright effing house that blinds us. Yet it still lets in light, which was something we didn't want to lose. The white color looks great with our white-trim sliders. I bought this item on sale for under $50. For the width and length and the quality, I am very satisfied and recommend.

Worth it good privacy film and letโs in morning sunlight
Am more than pleased with this product. I have nosey neighbors and enjoy having the natural light come through my window in the morning. I canโt see through it much other than shapes of things outside. Definitely blocking out anyone from peeking around. Love the color and texture of the film. It looks great on my window during the day and lets in sunlight surprisingly well. I canโt speak if it helps with heat but I imagine it helps absorb a little. So far no peeling issues or edges peeling up. Iโm a fan and have a bunch extra which will be used again. I install tint for a living so this was not a new process to me but I found the application of this frosted film would be easy for anyone with a card to use as a squeegee or an actual squeegee you may happen to have. Personally I used isopropyl alcohol to spray on the films cling side and then on the window, which was cleaned with the isopropyl before trying to apply. I would suggest cleaning the heck out of the glass, less change for bubble spots from trash and will help prevent it from peeling off. Iโve tried other brands in the past that wouldnโt even stick to a perfectly cleaned with a non oil based cleaner, like isopropyl or vinegar. Cut rough to fit sized piece out which worked out well for me as my windows were just under the purchased width for each pane. Spray your water on the windows wipe a card across the middle of the film up and then across to keep it from moving anymore while still giving ability to form if it did move out of place. Then start at the top of the film and work your wipe across with some kind of card with a little pressure to push out the water; best way to get it all out is go halfway of where the water is under the surface of where you last swiped and use the halfway point as your point to start each swipe across the film so if any water bubbles go up your cards there to knock them all down and out of the sides. Hardest part is cutting the shape after you get the majority sticking in place. Fresh razor is your best friend. Using a ruler/ straight edge can help lay the overlap off window to go all the way to each corner with your cut lines.

Easy to apply, remove bubbles, looks classy
I have applied my share of window films and due to issues experienced with most, wasnโt looking forward to applying this one on a glass exterior door. Surprise, surprise, after throughly dousing the window and the film, I applied it starting at the top and worked out the bubbles as I moved down. No issues, easy to apply and the bubbles came out very easily with a plastic baking tool that looks like a scraper. Trimming it was very easy using a broad bladed scraper held against the inside edge and cutting with a utility knife with a new blade. I applied a frosted film to the window and it now has a classy look. As long as the film doesnโt dry and begin peeling off, Iโll be a happy camper. I like how it subdues the glare on the floor from the sun yet allows plenty of light into the hallway. The last photo I took reveals that at the top, it may be coming lose as it dries. I may contact customer service to get their take on what could be done. I had to deduct 1 star due to this.

Great solution for blocking dogs view
We needed a simple non-permanent solution for our sliding glass doors to solve our issue with our dogs barking aggressively anytime we went outside to use our pool which made the pool experience anything but relaxing and enjoyable with constant barking. I still wanted to be able to see outside to monitor my kids in the pool or to see the dogs when they are outside so I only went 60% up the glass door. Ive never applied anything like this before but I measured and cut the film, attached 2 of the stickers to one side of the film to help place it, sprayed the glass generously with soapy water, and situated it into place. My son helped but for my size project, one person can do it alone. I ordered a separate accessory kit with a utility knife, felt squeegee and a few other things inside. The utility knife made it easy to trim off the places I needed to make adjustments. Im very satisfied with the ease of application and how nice this looks on my doors. My dogs are unable to see put now which has helped calm them down some although their other senses- like hearing- have amped up so they still bark some because they cant see us but they hear us outside however it is drastically reduced. I will be using the remnants to do my windows and I will be ordering more to finish my windows and another door.

Great privacy film! Its lasted a few years on my windows so far.
I bought this for my bedroom windows cuz my cat kept getting upset when she would see a certain cat outside lol. She would wake me up cuz she was getting so mad at this random cat so I knew I had to find a solution. I ended up getting the frosted glass privacy film. I followed the instructions exactly when I put it up and it has now been on my windows for atleast 3+ years! Haven't had a single problem. I thought it would begin to slide or fall or bubble eventually but it hasnt yet. I don't remember what I paid for it but I do remember thinking it was a good deal and pretty cheap. Highly highly recommend ๐๐ผ Living on the 1st floor always makes me worry about my privacy as well but I don't worry at all with the window film on there. It doesnt block out any light from outside which is nice. It wasn't very hard to apply it. I just did it slowly and used an exacto knife to fix any of the tiny bubbles that remained. (Those teeny tiny dots that look like bubbles arent noticeable in person. I didnt know they were there til I took this picture lol. Thats how small they are.)

Easy enough installation, needs more quality control for several reasons - READ ON!
I purchased several rolls of this in the opacity called Pure. A few factors drove my purchasing decision: THE ABILITY TO GET IT QUICKLY, attractiveness, opacity (I wanted maximum light transfer), and ease of installation. This wasn't the quickest of deliveries, but I didn't have to wait awfully long for it, so that part of the transaction was acceptable. Unfortunately, when it did arrive as two separate orders, one of the rolls delivered to me was white instead of Pure. Irritated as all get out by this for reasons I'll explain in a minute, I referred back to my order, and whoever packed my orders just flat out sent the wrong item in white instead of the correct one in Pure. This is *really bad* because now, my windows now don't match, which just looks like a trashy after thought - and that's an aesthetic that I wasn't going for, so I'm definitely not pleased with that. I would have gone through the insanely inconvenient hassle that is a return on Amazon, except that my #1 reason for ordering this was that the delivery was quick. This was purchased to accommodate a foster dog with reactivity issues who was having a rough time with visuals outside of our house: I needed something fast for his needs, and something matching, with acceptable opacity and light transfer for mine. I was flat out stuck with what was sent to me, as by its delivery time, there just wasn't the luxury or time for a return. I'm still salty about it. To make things worse, the roll of white arrived with creases that penetrated the entire roll, which presents adhesion issues during install and gives you areas afterwards where the film doesn't cling (also displeased with that). Rolls that aren't perfect shouldn't ever leave the factory OR a third-party shipper due to the nature of the product. Lastly, none of my rolls are the lengths stated in the item's description. I measured all of my windows in advance and should have had enough left over for a few more small windows if I needed it; instead, I'm significantly short. All of these things combined means that I now have a large window that had to be "patched", and since my films don't match, it looks like a hot mess. If I'd have received everything in Pure as I'd ordered, this wouldn't be noticeable to anyone but me, but with all the mistakes combined, it makes me bitter every time I look at it. (Patchy windows look bad from both inside and out!) On the positive side, it does cling very nicely. If an area pulls away, just mist the area and squeegee again to remove bubbles. I suggest using a straight edge/T-square and razor blade knife for cutting crisp edges. Have a large area for triple checking your measurements and cutting. The protective film backing sticks a little too well, so be prepared to wrestle with it and become frustrated. You'll get it off eventually, but that was the worst part of putting it up. It repositions easily, so lining up edges and corners isn't a big deal if you find it's going crooked. Large windows require two people or the weight of the film will pull it down if you're trying to put it up alone. While I'm not big on having my windows covered, it's been a really handy solution for my purpose and it would be nice after investing the time to size and cut it all to be able to re-use it in the future, though I have no idea how you'd store it. I do like the way the Pure looks, but would only order again if I could be certain that I'd get the correct product in the actual length stated (this is too expensive to not get exactly what you've paid for!)

Great for safety- completely black out tint
So far so good! I put the screen up two weeks ago and they are still up there without any movements or sliding. The process was easy AFTER you measured and cut the product. Cutting the screens correctly took some time and a few mess up pieces. I used another reviewers advice and cleaned the windows with vinegar windex, then sprayed the windows and the cut screen protector until they were dripping wet. Places the protector on the window then used a ruler to scrape her access water off. We left for vacation came back and the tint was still up so no one could tell we were gone. Great for safety!

Leave it to the professional for bigger mirrors
The product is good but to do a large panel of glass you really need the skills to do it and to cut the size so you donโt mess up the job. unfortunately for us, nope it did not work out. We hired a professional to do the three panels of glass we had and paid less than we paid for these items on Amazon.

Cant Peel Off!!
Chose this because of the great reviews. But it was a horrible experience. Firstly, I just couldn't separate the film from the sheet at the edge. Gave up after 10 minutes and called the Mrs. with longer nails. It was quite a struggle for her too. When we finally managed to, the protective sheet just couldn't peel off properly, tearing in multiple places after which it was impossible to remove the sheet. Tried 3 times. Had the same problem. In the end, my patience just gave away and I ended up dumping it in the bin. I'm surprised to see so many customers had it so easy. It was a real struggle for me and the Mrs. who tried too after I gave up. She called it quits after the second try. Defective/Fake product?
