Broke after 2 days
This product did not live up to it's description. The narrow strip of silicon on the base is not enough to stop it slipping on the edge of our ceramic sink and the pump is quite stiff which meant that when our 6 year old tried to depress it the whole thing slipped off the side and smashed - see photo. Really disappointing as lost the lovely soap inside all over the floor. See through bottom is obviously a weak spot.

Very pleased.
I was initially put off of this by a lot of negative reviews, however my wife had seen it in a shop and wanted one. We're really pleased with it, the lid turns and opens easily, it stores a decent amount of liquid soap, and the pump is good, it dispenses a good amount on your hand. The bottom of the dispenser is clear plastic so you can see how much liquid is left.If I had a negative it would be that for £15 it probably is a bit expensive for what it is, as it is only a basic plastic shell, not particually sturdy premium plastic, but I guess your paying a premium for the brand name engraved on the top.Overall very pleased, and would recommend this.

Despite the functionality issues that I feel the actual dispenser has, it does look nice.
I liked the idea of this soap dispenser, however I’m not happy with the projection of the soap as it leaves the dispenser. You literally have to have your hand exactly underneath the pump, and if you don’t you’ll be constantly wiping it down, there’s not enough space between the dispenser and the body of the soap unit. There is literally only enough space for your finger to put under the dispenser instead of say your palm as is the case with usual shop bought soap dispensers.

Smart, good quality product but not perfect
I read the reviews before purchasing but decided to order it anyway. The reviewer who says it's a poor quality product because she didn't know how to open it is wrong: the product doesn't come with opening instructions but there is an arrow underneath the top of the pump showing which direction to turn to open and, after a twist in the right direction, the top lifts off for easy filling. It's true that you need to place your hand under the outlet when dispensing but that shouldn't be a problem unless maybe it's being used for washing up liquid. I'm using mine for liquid hand wash. There is no viewing gauge down the side to show the level of liquid but the bottom of the item shows how much liquid is left in the dispenser and, if you have a refill bottle available, it shouldn't be a problem. Yes, it's a bit pricey but it's good quality plastic and we're paying for the brand. Addendum: I've been using this for a few weeks now and my initial delight has turned to irritation with the product because the top of the dispenser, where the actual outlet is, is not marked clearly enough to indicate where the soap will come out. Also unless you put your hand fully under the spout and wipe it cleanly with your hand as you withdraw, the handwash can run down the body. I keep having to clean it. The pump is sturdy and looks good but I've reduced my rating down to 3 stars as I've decided I wouldn't buy this again. Nor, having used it for a while now, would I recommend it.

Rubbish Doesn't work
Have just bought this and filled it with Palmolive handwash and pumped for all it is worth and it will not work and started to come out of the lid instead. Absolute rubbish but looks nice. Says on the description it works with most handwashes but I should have read the reviews first. Would have given zero score if I could.PS left it for a few hours before getting around to empty and repackage to start a return and tried it and it now works. Should not have to do this and not sure how it will be after a refill but will upgrade from 1 star to 2 and will re edit my rating after longer use
