RulesOBJECT:Be the first player to get all ten of your dice to show the same number.  That is the first way to play.HOW TO PLAY:(2-4 players.) Each player chooses a set of dice. Players hold all ten dicein their hands. Someone says "Go" and everyone rolls at the same time.Quickly look at your roll and decide which number you are going to gofor. (For example, if you have more 3's than any other number, that'swhat you want to go for.) Put all your dice with that number aside,collect the remaining dice and quickly roll again. (You do not have towait for others to roll again. Everyone rolls together only on the firstroll.) Keep rolling until all ten of your dice show the same number.WINNING:The first player to get all ten of their dice to match (ten 3's, for example)shouts out "TENZI" and wins the game!  And there are lots more ways to play! Can this game be used to drill addition and subtraction facts?

I'm neither a mathematician nor an educator, but it seems to me that with forty colorful dice there must be almost endless variables for helping someone to learn and become comfortable with addition and subtraction. I bought this game to play with a 7-year-old and a 5-year-old in the hope that it would help them develop their counting skills in a totally fun way. As they get older, I'm quite sure that mastering the concepts of addition and subtraction will be easier with this visual method. I'm seeing this game as a method for teaching basic arithmetic in a way that is enjoyable and not perceived as a chore.

What Size are these dice? Are they 12mm 16mm? I want to supplement my set and want the dice to be the same size. Can someone break out the ruler...

Any age group.  It is fun to play with kids learning their numbers all the way up to adults competing to win!  My kids (5-13yo) and I enjoy playing at home but we had a blast playing with friends (30-60yo) at a holiday party.
