Finally, an Alpha for my Omega!
I received my Alpha JX2 a few weeks ago. Delivery was one day earlier than promised. I live in an old apartment building, so the first thing I wanted to check was the water shut-off valve. As I feared, the valve would not budge. I went to the office and nobody was there except for the maintenance guy. I explained my dilemma and he said no problem and asked if I would like him to install it for me. Sometimes being old has its perks! Needless to say, the installation was a breeze. There is a learning curve with use. This unit does everything as advertised and well! I have not found any downsides. I strongly recommend this product. My Omega is very happy to have found its Alpha!

Easy to use and works great!
We bought ours in 2021 and it’s still going strong. It was rather easy to install. The options are numerous. I love the heated seat the best. It’s great that you can choose the seat temperature, water temperature, and there’s a dryer! Life changing 😊

Best bidet I have ever owned and used in many years
Absolutely fantastic. I have been using this bidet for 3 years and have not yet encountered a problem. The controlled water pressure and variable water temperature are perfect for occasional issues caused by hemoroid. I use low water heat and pressure as sitz bath after surgeries which is much more sanitary than traditional way. The use of battery in remote control is still the original one and it looks like it will go for another year. It is easy to clean.

Works well!
So I ordered this on July 19th 2025. It's now been 2 months since then. It was pretty easy to install. When I remodeled my other bathroom, which shares a wall, I installed a power outlet into the master bathroom near the toilet in case of future plans for an electric-powered bidet. I've had a manual Bidet for several years and it worked well. The one negative about it is that it's hard to clean the back part of the tolet as the nozzles always hang down. Then the knob to turn the nozzle water on broke. I figured it was time to step things up. I looked at a number of them. I do have one in the master bath I never use as I don't use that bathroom. It's for my Dad who lives at my house. Anyway, I settled on this one and for the most part it's great. It was easy to install. The remote is nice, though I still need to mount it to the wall. I was able to plug it right in with the outlet I had installed a couple years ago. It does its job. The one thing I don't like is the heat to dry. It blows mostly on my left cheek. It tends to burn. I have it turned way down in power. I have to shift to get the heat where I need it better. That is a negative. The night light works well. It is bright. So if your Bathroom door is open at night, it's just too much light with the seat up. Close the top cover and it's a whole lot better. But I can also stand up and go at night without turning on the bathroom light. The Bedit light is enough. It also helps not to wake up as much to the bright bathroom lights. I can see some glow around the toilet, lift up the top and seat and go. It lacks some features at this price point, but nothing I can't live without. It is soft close and the price wasn't to bad. If anything changes, I'll update this post.

Not Perfect, But Pretty Darn Good
This is my 1st bidet seat and, really, my 1st bidet experience. Conclusion: where’ve you been all my life? I did my research and determined that the JX2 was the one to try. I’ve been using it for a solid 6 months now, and I’ve gotten quite used to it. I’m disappointed if I have to use the other bathroom now. The JX2 was part of a comprehensive bathroom renovation. My fist mistake was going with a round instead of elongated commode bowl. There are a few reasons for this, but suffice it to say, I definitely recommend the elongated over the round, if you have the choice. The beeping: yes, there is a faint “beep” when I sit down (and, I think, also when I stand up.) This can be turned off by plugging in the JX2 while depressing a button on the seat. I’ve found that the house power invariably gets interrupted within days of me doing this, though, and when it comes back on, the seat defaults to beeping again. So, I’ve just gotten used to the beeping. This one’s not that loud. (But it’s still dumb that it beeps. Who needs a toilet seat that beeps? Everything beeps these days. It’s maddening.) The bidet-ing itself is pleasant and effective overall. Sometimes I run concurrent cycles, just to be sure. I recommend pressing the bidet button twice, which gets the wand to do a slight, back-and-forth, scrubbing motion. It was interesting to me to experience changing the water temperature on-the-fly. You push the temp button and that water temperature instantly changes. Speaking of, Alpha should be able to figure out a way to have the initial blast of water be as warm as the rest of it, because it ain’t. It is ALWAYS frigid-cold, just for a second, long enough to make me make a face, and then it’s pleasant. One thing I have noticed recently, temperature-wise, is that the water isn’t always as warm as it was. Maybe my wife is fidgeting with the temp control (which I doubt because she likes everything hotter than I like it), or maybe it’s because the incoming water is much colder than it was in the summer and fall. Regardless, I’ve had some cooler than expected bidets this winter. My wife has complained that, although the wand’s position can be adjusted, she still can’t get it to move far enough forward to be useful in the female application. I have had the same issue at the opposite end. When I’m ready to bidet, even after I draw the wand back as far as it will go, I still have to scoot a little “too” forward on the seat to feel optimally situated. Here is where the elongated bowl and seat (as opposed to the round) could have solved a lot. The drying feature could get warmer faster, which I think would help it not to take so long. I don’t feel the warmth (which could be warmer) until it’s at least a third of the way into its cycle, maybe half way. Before that, it’s just like a cool breeze. It gets high marks for aim though, good aim, just slow to dry. My wife likes the heated seat function, though I could do without it. We both like the night-light feature. I don’t even have to turn the bathroom light on in the middle of the night anymore. I can see everything I need to see. If I was to suggest anything to Alpha, like if they asked me, I’d maybe recommend a model with a throttle on the side, like driving a boat, something you could pull back on to crank up the water pressure. I’d buy that (and maybe a Captain’s hat to wear with it).

The bidets were easy to install and all the features work great 3 months later. With the bidet height being higher than a standard toilet seat it is worth looking into getting a slightly lower toilet is you are doing a new build, or buying a new toilet. I am almost 6 feet tall and my lower legs are straight. For shorter people you might want to buy a slightly lower toilet. Otherwise no complaints at all and this is an American company so chances are you can get parts vs buying from a non-North American company.

I'm 400 lbs with a big booty and I poop alot.. this thing makes going to the bathroom an enjoyment... the quality is outstanding... first the night light is awesome because it's just bright enough that the room is dark but I can see to take a leak..the lid lowers slowly which eliminates noise.. and it has alot of power in the sprayer... the hot water on your bumhole feels really good and it eliminates wiping 5 times... its not rated for ppl 400 lbs but I've used mine 1000 times sense I've had it and it's just like the day I took it out the box over a year ago... must have

Works like a charm & so easy to operate. My husband had it installed in no time at all. We are loving it! Definitely cleans well & saves on toilet paper! Hope it continues to impress over time. Very happy with this purchase.

Alpha bidet is a remarkable and brilliant design to toilet hygiene Replaced the Toto 'Washlet' after eleven years of uninterrupted use However due to age it was without sophistication just a basic unit Admire the remote control for simplicity of imagery Love the Alpha pulsing wash and the fact it pre-starts water upon sitting No issues mounting as I was able to reuse the original hardware Plumbing and electrical were simple exchanges Love the night light as I am active pre-dawn Highly recommend this bidet for simple comfort
