My two granddaughters get Highlights and do the Hidden Picture puzzle eagerly with every issue. I was so happy to find this treasure book for them! So much so that I decided to get TWO copies of this same exact book so they could EACH have the pleasure of doing all the puzzles entirely by themselves. (They share one subscription of Highlights right now, so they have to take turns and share all the experiences every month!) They were THRILLED to each have their own, and spent at least five minutes after opening the books ooo'ing and ahhh'ing over each page! And hey - even though they'd done some of the puzzles already? They were excited and looking forward to doing them all over again. In fact, they loved looking at the ones they were familiar with most of all I think, and very animated in talking about them again. Kind of like visiting an old friend I guess. The pages are jumbo, so the puzzles are a real treat...and trust me, there are a TON of puzzle pages to do! This is a fantastic book!

I like these better than using my phone to do these. I enjoy this better than puzzles and gives me something to do to keep my mind busy. I have always liked looking for hidden objects.

My kids love this. Perfect for kids 4-6 years old, anything older and it may get a little easy for them.

This is such fun and a challenge at times. I purchased for my grands but I actually love searching myself. My granddaughter almost 7 had the book in the car everywhere we went and enjoyed finding the pictures.

Great book! My son and I do this together for fun. We thought it was going to be just one type of hidden picture game throughout the book. However, there are many different activities... And we are not disappointed with this. It is fun. There are your usual hidden picture games when they give you words and items to find, some with more than one picture to find same items, pictures where you have to find a certain number of one item, some where you have to figure out the words for the items by decoding, and then finding the items in the pictures, and more. We got this because it says it is the "Hardest" hidden picture book. I guess that is a matter of opinion. To us, some are challenging... Some not so much. Regardless... It's fun and a good book!

I purchased it with the rather lofty goal of keeping my three exuberant young charges occupied—and I dare say, it has succeeded marvellously. Each page is a dazzling spectacle of sneaky squirrels, concealed combs, and scandalously well-hidden spoons. It’s devilishly tricky (in the best sort of way), which means not only are the children deeply engrossed for ages, but so am I. Yes, I confess—I often find myself “helping” just a tad longer than necessary. It’s highly competitive in our household now, with magnifying glasses being brandished and triumphant shrieks of “I found it!” echoing through the rooms like we’re on a hidden-object safari. Whether you’re seven or… ahem, significantly older, this book is a riot of brain-tingling fun. Highly recommended for sharp-eyed sleuths and those who enjoy outwitting paper-based trickery. Five stars and a standing ovation from our entire crew.

Hidden pictures books are always fun and educational; Highlights does the best ones! This particular book is really more difficult than the normal puzzle books but my grandson is loving the extra challenge. Great price!

Love hidden picture books! Very entertaining. Could find objects for hours.

Great way to keep my 11 year old busy and off the iPad for a while. This book is difficult in parts but highly recommend as something to do together.

Abbiamo acquistato questo libro, che contiene immagini con oggetti nascosti da trovare, come intrattenimento da viaggio per un bambino di 4 anni e una bambina di 7. Entrambi si sono divertiti molto,la bambina di 7 anni riesce a completarle più facilmente, ma spesso lo fa insieme al fratellino di 4. I disegni sono ben fatti, ma in alcune pagine è necessario l’intervento dei genitori, dato che gli oggetti nascosti sono piuttosto difficili da trovare.

This book definitely lives up to its "hardest" title; the puzzles are ultra-challenging and require a high level of focus and attention to detail. The printing is very clear and the hidden objects are cleverly placed throughout the intricate illustrations; it is a great tool for building patience and persistence in older kids. It manages to be rewarding without being frustrating; it's a well-designed book that provides hours of quiet, brain-engaging activity.
