Dream Cocktail Carb – Carb Infused Thickening Leave-In Treatment

I love it. All I need are two pumps to apply to damp hair. I run my fingers a bit at the root and then in the middle. Not the ends because I don’t want them to get heavy. Then I blow dry as normal with a brush. It’s a great product for when I need some body and don’t have time to fuss with pomades or clay. The product is a clear gel with a nice light scent. Second day hair loses a tiny bit of bounce but I definitely am able to look put together throughout the day. It’s not greasy at all. I just feel my normal hair. I’ve always used sea salt spray hoping for more body but I haven’t found the one. Then my hair stylist used this on me and I liked it enough to buy it and see how it works when I style it my way. I can feel its thicker when I put my hair up with a hair tie.

This works if you use it right! The first time I used this I combed it through my hair and I was disappointed - it worked a little, but the results were not great. The next time I massaged two pumps into my roots on the top of my head, where I wanted the volume to be, dried my hair 10 minutes later, and wow! I have never had so much volume and body! This is amazing!!! I just can't tell you how well this works and it lasts all day if I give it a light spray with a hairspray. I live in a humid area and my hair tends to go limp during the summer, but this is working for me. I can't even imagine the results I could get with this if I lived somewhere dry. For your reference, I am 45 and have a medium hair thickness (according to my stylist) but my hair texture is very fine and doesn't have any lift from the roots. It is naturally wavy and will frizz in the heat and humidity, but not in a "big frizz" kind of way, it gets the limp frizzies. This is perfect for people with my hair texture. I have already been recommending this to friends and family and would recommend it to other shoppers as well. I hope they never stop making this!!!

I'm a senior citizen and have thinning hair. This product gives lots of body and lift to make my hair appear thicker. I like the nice smell, too.

I have very fine hair that I have trouble getting to keep volume. This stuff really does work and it doesn’t weigh down my hair. I actually noticed that I can go longer in between washes if I blow dry with this since my hair isn’t sitting right in my scalp it stays cleaner longer. It also makes my hair super shiny and smooth like when my hairdresser blows it out and significantly reduces dry time. You do have to perfect your blow dry. If you don’t have a good technique, I can see how this might not be worth it. Get that round brush goin!

Works better than most hair products I have used. Made my hair feel more volume. Will buy again. Doesn’t have much of a fragrance.

Did the job. Thickened up my hair. But there is no warning about the effect on hair that's gone a while without a trim. It should be used on freshly cut hair or hair without split ends. It will intensely magnify the appearance of split ends if you have them. And if you don't know you do, you'll find out! 😂 I found split ends I didn't even know I had! On the plus side, if you have hair loss in the upper corners of your hairline, it kinda thickens up whatever baby strands you have and kinda hides it. I used heat with the blowdryer and did my typical overnight heatless curls routine after. Not a single curl held with this product in my hair. So if you want curls-- you'll have to use heat. 3 stars because it does what it says it will do, but I don't know if the other negative effects are worth it.

I have fine thin hair and adds volume

Purchased the COLOR WOW Dream Cocktail Carb Infused Leave-In because I have fine, thin hair and was hoping it would add some fullness. It does give my hair a little extra body and makes it look slightly thicker after blow-drying. The downside for me is that it tends to dry out my hair, so I need to use a good moisturizing conditioner or another hydrating product along with it. If your hair is already on the dry side, that’s something to keep in mind. Overall, it’s an okay product for adding volume, but I wish it left my hair feeling softer and more hydrated.

Can’t recommend this item enough. For someone who has a degree of hair loss due to medication this product has been an absolute life saver. I style my own hair and after using this product I feel I have double the amount of hair seriously, the effect is amazing so much so I’m constantly asked if I’ve been to the hairdresser. The fullness and shine is fabulous. I apply the product ( 6 pumps) and use the color wow big hair mousse also I dry each section and put in Velcro rollers - the end result is outstanding - talk about value for money! A blow dry at the hairdresser would cost me £30 and I end up with a salon blow dry effect each time. The bottle lasts for ages!

I haven't had a chance to try it yet but just had to say Wow for fast delivery!! Ordered on Friday afternoon or evening and received it Sunday morning!!! Great job! It smells really nice and I'm excited to try it!!
