LOT OF 1 TINTEX FABRIC DYE BEIGE 31

I fell into the trend of tie-dying during quarantine and at the recommendation of a YouTuber, decided to purchase this brand instead of a different kind that I often hear about and have also used. The first time I used this dye was on a 100% cotton white t-shirt. It left weird colored marks in random spots, but I figured it had to be a fluke. I had pre-washed the shirt to remove any sort of coatings that could be on it and followed all the steps exactly. Then I tried it on a sweatshirt that is 50% cotton 50% poly. The same thing happened but even worse - random spots of blue, red, yellow, etc. It's so strange and I don't know what could have caused it, but it completely ruined the brand new t-shirt and crewneck I bought for this project. It's a beautiful color and was just as easy to use as others that I have tried, but I'll let the photos speak for themselves. The spots also did not come out, obviously. Very disappointed.
