how long would a 100lb propane last if only used 2 days a week on weekends i live in NJ

There's no answer to your question. What would the temperature be outside? How many btus does your space take? 1 pound of propane is 21,600 btu's. Your 100 pound tank will produce 2,160,000 btus. If your space took 21600 btus per hour, your tank would last 100 hours (4 days). That's the best answer I can provide. Thanks Bill Shurail HVAC

can this be set up for outside air combustion?

Tom...If you need outside air, you need to buy the HDS45 sealed combustion unit. It's about $3-400 more. Typically it's used when the inside air is toxic, such as painting, staining, etc.

There are two ways to support the heather. 1. Place the heater on top of a shelf 7 or 8 ft or higher. Allow a minimum of 18 inches clearance at the rear of the heater. 2. Mount from the ceiling with 3/8 all thread in each corner of the heater 24" by18 1/2". Use 3/8 nuts and washers to level the heater side to side and front to back

is there a top or bottom to the 45000,can it be mounted either way?

It can be mounted either way. You can turn the louvres over as well. Also there is a spare Hot Dawg sticker in the instruction booklet if you mount it upside down, which I did, to get better access to the controls. Good luck.
