She is going blind and has become anxious when we turn out the lights. We installed a night light so she could navigate easily to her water dish but we found that it wasn't enough as her eyes have become steadily worse. So we placed a lamp with one of these amazing bulbs on our dresser. It illuminates the whole room with infinite options of colors and brightness. These options are easily controllable by our cellphone. We experimented with reducing the brightness of the bulb to the point where it was bright enough for our dog (20%) but not so bright to affect our sleep. Mindy and us now sleep comfortably through the night. Her night anxiety has been completely eliminated. Though we use this for our dog, it would work great for babies and/or kids who also experience night anxiety.
