Great taste, I did add honey since I was using unsweetened almond milk (I am Lactos intolerant). 1 qt almond milk to 3/4lb of mix and about 2 tablespoons of honey, mixed for about 2 minutes and poured into my new Gourmia GSI1060BK. Took about 30 minutes and I had soft serve (milkshake at about 20 minutes). It was a bit too sweet (probably the honey), but the texture was great. The instructions say to use the whole 6lb bag with 8 quarts of milk, so that works out to 3/4 lb per quart.

Taste is great, but you do have to work on the texture if you’re not going to use the whole bag at once! I used 2 cups of mix and 2 cups of water first try and I was satisfied. Also, I would use milk next to get a creamy texture.

I have tried all the Vanilla base products on Amazon in our slushy machine... and this one is the best in my opinion!!! The texture turns out great in the machine.. it tastes the best.. and you get a 6 lb bag for the same price as the other brands 3 lb bags! The Vanilla taste is that same great REAL homemade ice cream taste I remember my Grandparents making every summer when I was a kid!... THIS ONE IS ALL YA NEED!!!!

We got a slushie machine that also makes ice cream. I wanted to have several options for yummy treats that wouldn't take long, so decided to try this soft serve mix. IT IS REALLY GOOD! Just add some milk and stir it up, pour into machine and you end up with the soft serve we all enjoy. I read on other reviews that using water instead of milk didn't turn out well, so didn't even try. This is not a sugar free desert. The slushie machines require sugar for them to freeze properly so this does have sugar instead of artificial sweeteners. The taste is great, lightly sweet, vanilla flavor and is creamy and light. We will try the other flavors now that we have tested one. There is no recipe for making small batches on the bag. It just has the instructions for making the whole thing at once. I experimented and found that 2/3 to 3/4 cup of mix with 3 cups of milk worked for us and our particular slushie machine. The price is not a great feature. It is cost prohibitive for me to use regularly but good enough to enjoy from time to time. This is a quick and divinely refreshing summer treat!

We use this for individual servings of icecream. We have a green pan ice cream machine and it makes great icecream in that. I just wish it was resealable but i just use a chip clip.

I use this to make my Ninja Creami. I mix a small amount with a can of fruit, and it makes it have a really great texture. I have also used it on its own with milk, and it basically makes a ninja creami soft serve. It tastes really good. That being said, the price is WILD. I paid $22 for vanilla. Now the price is $33. That is WAY too much for this. Like, I get inflation, but holy smokes. I won’t be purchasing again until the price gets back to normal.

This ice cream mix is pleasantly satisfying. I am lactose intolerant, but love frozen desserts. Now, I can make tasty treats right at home! The sweetness was perfect. I didn't add any sweetener and it was very good. Easy to make and a fun weekend activity with the kids!

Used water to create the mix as the instructions said, and was not satisfied with the results. It is too icy, and not as creamy as we would like. If you use whole milk instead of water, the creaminess returns, so would recommend that course of action for the best results. Of course it is then not lactose free anymore, so while a good price, the added milk required to make it into good soft serve makes it more expensive than it appears.
