The V side is a great thickness for working on edges and for more direct muscle work (jaw, under the jaw). It's not a large stone, and the marketing doesn't mention sustainability or anything to sell itself on the higher price point, so it definitely felt a little bit like, "did i really just spend $80 on a white rock?" when i first received it. But again, the shape is so unique, and it feels more effective when using it, so i do feel like it is worth it if you're serious about gua sha.
