The page protectors are high quality (thicker, sturdier) and true 12x12. You can slip a page in with embellishments and it fits without warping the page protector. They even fit in a post bound album (Recollections) that I converted to snap and load. I haven't tried them in other album brands yet, but I lined up the holes with another book and they seem like they would work. I love that you can get 60 pages at a time. I can just get one of these boxes and it will last through one of my large travel scrapbooks with sheets leftover to start the next scrapbook. Good quality plastic - I have never had them tear.
