It holds its point just as well as plastic does. Flavor: They didn't flavor my drinks much. Maybe a faint (but not unpleasant) plant-y taste when I drink plain water through them, but anything else like tea or soda it doesn't affect at all. Much better than paper straws IMO. Size: A good length for a tall tumbler I sometimes use. Maybe a little long for regular drinking glasses, but still very usable (and you can trim them shorter if you want). Also wide enough to fit boba through, especially if you trim the bottom (in-drink) end at an angle.
