If you are making your own cable make sure you cable test it with a cable tester, just one dodgy core will stop it working. The one thing I've found with these you can't have the settings on your device as auto detect resolution, you must set this as a fixed resolution otherwise you don't get a picture. Hense why you see on another post by sticking a splitter/booster box inline solved it because this would of solved the resolution issue. I'm running on 1920x1080 on 5 meters perfectly well but can't say how this will behave on anything longer. Hope this helps anyone with any issues I found.
