do the strings come with ball endings?

No, they do not come with ball endings. Just bought two packs based on prior wrong answer and of course all strings in both pack do not have ball endings.

Will the strings hurt an eight year old child?

The strings will NOT "hurt" anyone at any age. But I do know that protecting a child from life will hurt them the most. Scrapes and bruises are all part of growing up. And teaches kids how to respond to lifes curve balls. Is this a serious question?? Lol...

Are thes strings "ball ends"?

No!! Nylon strings with no ball end

Can I use it on Acoustic guitar?

Never tried it.... the only thing I can think of that "might" give you a hiccup would be the grooves in the nut for the E, B, & G strings.
