This was my 1st time using tape and I LOVE the hold it gives. Before I was holding my lace wigs down with Got2Be hair gel (black tube) and would get a 2-3 day hold. Needed something to last me throughout the week and I could love on my hair over the weekend. With this tape, I was able to get a 6-7day hold with no issues even with the shower & steam. I cleaned my forehead with rubbing alcohol before applying. I’ve been able to achieve this type of hold every time unless I remove it early. From that aspect it was exactly what I was looking for, for my week long vacation. Good thing too since I left the roll home by mistake 🤦🏾‍♀️. CONS: (1) removing the paper backing can be tricky as hell & can result in tape getting twisted/rolled up on me. Has only happen 2x but that sucks. (2) tape is shiny. I’ve even tried dulling it down with powder makeup and it hasn’t worked. I also don’t use a ton of powder as I fear it could lift the bonding. If I could get this EXACT waterproof, 7 day hold on a dull tape...it would be GOLD! Would still repurchase.
