MOREOK Cycling Gloves Bike Bicycle Gloves, Half Finger 5MM Gel Anti-Slip

My father-in-law just all of us riding bikes about two years ago. It seems like everyone had taken at least one or two tumbles/crashes since then, except for me. Since COVID and the lockdown hit, we have been biking more and more about the trails. I went out four weeks ago for a quick ride and called my wife to let her know as she was out and about. I joked that I hope I don’t crash, but will wear my helmet, as it was raining early in the morning, and by that time everything had dried out around the house. Went on the trails and ten minutes in I get to the ONE part that I am always leery of the wooden boardwalk. I was going so slow as there were a ton of people walking including older ones and parents with little kids. I was avoiding everyone, but these older ladies were spread out a bit too far, so I swung out and before I knew it was I flying through the air and landed on my shoulder, knee, and (tear) writes. I was stunned as I was barely moving, and it was bad enough to throw the chain off. Ladies wanted to give a ride home, but I was fine and got the chain back on (nothing else was wrong) and off I went, I finished off the rest of the hour ride, but my wrists were HURTING (still hurt, to be honest), due to an old injury that happened as I was a stupid teenager….but I digress. Started looking for gloves and asked my father-in-law for a recommendation since he has been using gloves for a while. He told me a few good ones, but I really liked the design and of these gloves. I am really glad I choose these as they are AWESOME! Due to being in Texas and the heat, I was really worried about sweating and how breathable the gloves would be, as I would hate to have blisters after each ride, but thankfully these are really comfortable and the mesh really helps my hands breath. I still have to almost peel them off after each ride, but my hands feel great. They are always dry within a few hours, so I never have put my hand in a wet glove, which sounds the exact opposite of fun. The gel padding is awesome! I barely have any pain in my wrists as I am riding anymore from any jolts as the gel is thought and takes the brunt of it The only time I have felt any shock is when I have to brake hard for people not paying attention to the trails and nearly running into me. The wrists straps are adjustable which is good as my hands swell a bit due to the humidity we have right now. I am defiantly going to get another pair for myself as well as get my wife a pair! These are a great bargain and I highly recommend them!

These are good gloves the padding is in the right place on the palms they do not feel like they're cheap at all but decent they're not super high quality but I like them and I think they're going to last quite a while they're way better than the other two pairs that I ordered and returned from Amazon.

They are good. Just a little trouble getting them off your hands when sweaty, just stick to your fingers.

Don't laugh, but I have to be honest with you. What led up to buying these "MOREOK Cycling Gloves Bike Gloves for Men & Women"? I recently purchased a 2023 Chevy Silverado LT, and was at my local Walmart looking for a steering wheel cover for my pickup truck. I like a thick grip when I'm driving for better control of the steering wheel. I saw the one I liked, and was on my way to the checkout counter, when I read the back of the steering wheel cover (it read, " This product has Cancer material and may harm you). I was stunned that this was on it 🤔... I said WOW, it's a 'Steering Wheel' cover, and it causes Cancer? Man, this is CRAZY. So, I definitely won't be buying any more steering covers anytime soon. I thought about trying some driving gloves (you can't go wrong there). I didn't see anything I liked, and most of what I tried was way too tight or uncomfortable. I searched on Amazon and kept seeing MOREOK cycle gloves. Yeah, I know they're for cycling, but could they be for driving and serve as an alternative to replacing a steering cover (it could work)? They looked thick enough and comfortable, had a gel grip, and the customer reviews were fair, which I guess were from cyclists. So, I purchased a pair; I had nothing to lose, and the price wasn't really an issue as long as it was a quality product and backed up its advertising claims! When these cycle gloves arrived, they were well-packaged, which is a nice touch and shows the designer cares about the product. I wear an 'X-Large' size for men. I was stunned by how comfortable, thick, and great they look; And dare I say it? They fit like a glove! 😁 I almost got the same grip as if I had a steering wheel cover on, even with the open-finger style. I'll never purchase a steering wheel cover again! I'm buying "MOREOK Cycling Gloves" every time. The best part, I told my wife how pleased I was with these cycling gloves. She wanted to see what I was so happy about; it's just a glove. So she tried one of my gloves on and liked them the first time she put them on, even though they are for my large hands. She wanted two pairs for driving the bus. So, I bought her two (medium) pairs for women. I think I may buy more for the entire family (will see). This was a big deal for me! 😁 Thanks, MOREOK, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I love the gel padding, makes working out easier on my hands, as they are a little sensitive. I love how breathable the fabric is. It's pretty durable. I've purchased a few times now and given some as gifts. I got a size large, and it was the perfect fit. I think my favorite color might be the orange and black, though the other colors are just as cute, especially the red. Easy to put on and remove. They're not too thick so my hands aren't left sweaty.

I am old school, picky and not easily impressed. I feel ground zero is when products actually fulfill expectations. I usually only review on poorly performing items. These are an exception. I ride a Trek Roscoe 7 leg powered MTB in Florida from flatwoods to dodging city traffic. These gloves are what I expected at a higher price point. At first sight they are elegant looking, meticulously made with quality materials. Seams and stitching line up perfectly. The actual feel once worn holds true to the first impression, if not beyond. The final and most important test is the performance. Granted I’ve only used them on just two rides, both 50 plus miles with 15 to 30 mph headwinds. That’s when I decided to post a review. To say they pass my expectations is a total understatement. Tempted to purchase another set before become “this product is no longer available”.

Here's my situation: I rode MTB for some time on gnarly trails out west. I used unpadded gloves (big name, pricey) and loved them, thought them essential for blister protection. I never needed "padding" though. But now I ride road bike, all pavement, but the roads here are nasty. I run 700-25 tires. (Yeah, could go bigger tires and get a little smoother... but bike is all set up and I'm leaving it as it is for now). I do have a carbon fork so that helps a little. I can dodge the actual holes, but the cracks, patches, and ripples ... just nasty. In fact, every 2 rides or so (10-39 mi) my brake-shifters have vibrated loose and i have to re-tighten them down!! SO, reviewing the padding against that type of riding ... the gel pads in these gloves reduce a LOT of vibration and bumps in my hands and make the ride so much better. So a very, very big success there. They look garish with the pink flames on the back and the pink pads ... but I didn't buy them for looks so I don't care. They seem to be holding up okay for the first half dozen rides ... time will tell about real longevity. The problem ... there is an extra strip of fabric running between the base of the index finger and thumb, along the webbing of the thumb, that gets REALLY uncomfortable. It's like a 1/4" wide strip sewn in there, I guess for extra padding? If you ride in an upright posture gripping the handlebars like a "baseball bat," like with your palms facing toward the ground, fingers rolling over top of the bars, thumb rolled under to grip ... it isn't in the way. And I doubt it would rub/bother with that grip. However, if you ride with drops, or bar ends (on a MTB or gravel) such that your palms are vertical, facing eachother, and the bar is pressing on this space between the index finger and thumb, that "lump" is a problem. I get start noticing it about 5-8 miles in. By about 10mi, it's annoying. By 12-13 mi it's painful and I'm constantly re-adjusting my hand position out of "normal" to try to get some relief. It tends to be the Rt one more than the left. So maybe the construction varies and I got a Rt glove with a bad seam. But the L one, thought not as bad, is a tad uncomfortable too, so I think I notice it more as my Rt hand is dominant and I am shifting rear rings with Rt hand, so moving it more. I dunno but basically I'm saying "not good" to this glove for road biking. If you MTB with flat handlebar these might be fine for you. (though I would not like this much padding - it's a lot! - for MTB because I would want a more grip on the bars and not want the slop created by padding at that interface for the technical stuff I did. Full suspension was necessity, just for control, on the stuff I did, to I wanted as little as possible between me and the handlebars. If you do less technical stuff, the padding might not bother you.). If you MTB with occasional use of bar ends, might be okay when you are upright, that area isn't rubbing. If you gravel bike, or ride moderate trails where you are mostly upright, and want a lot of padding, these might be 5-star for you. But if you road bike with an aggressive/forward posture, I do NOT recommend these given the construction with seams and this 'lump' across the webbing of the thumb.

I have used them non stop for 2x seasons, long endurance rides over 90kms, no issues! Recommended.

Not just confortable but it really avoids the pain from pressure that used to came after ride for more than one hour.
