Very good read
This book is a great read. Non stop action and unexpected events throughout the whole book. I will be reading more by this author. Definitely worth buying!!

Tooth of the Elephant
An amazing book. Afresh note of detail in the first few chapters in the descriptions of the bush and countryside but said details bogged the story down as it progressed.

Kept me wanting to continue reading
It wasn’t what I thought but it was a great read for anyone (male or female). It keeps moving at a good pace. Gets you interested right away and keeps your interest. Has some surprises and ends well.

Wordy
This book could have had shorter chapters. Very wordy. More of a romance novel.Theme and wildlife description was good.

A Great Read
Action packed and very well written. Felt like I was standing next to the main character. Very glad I made this purchase.

Just one thing
. . I love this story, for all the reasons given in these reviews. But I am having a heck of a time trying to read it. I have learned to understand without commas, but the print is so small, with big spaces between the lines! I was trying to read it with a magnifying glass -- felt so pathetic. Don't mock me for being 75; I just got a lovely new lens implanted and will get back to this book as soon as I finish the one I'm on.

Great Adventure
Set in Africa, this is a cat and mouse thriller set in the jungle and finally played out in Hong Kong. Great plot, great action and an admirable hero.

Excellent Book
Just finished reading this book ,enjoyed from beginning to end ,having lived all my life in Southern Africa felt comfortable with the african content descriptions and look forward to reading further from this author .Having been a Wilber Smith loyal ardant reader from start to end enjoying every second of all his books ,I could follow same with Gordon Wallis if he remains with Africa theme if I may call it that ..

Excellent reading
Gordon Wallis is very descriptive in his narration which provides so much more to the story and allows the reader to feel almost participative with the characters in their actions.

Thrilling story
Zimbabwean author Gordon Wallis sends his hero Jason Green in this thrilling story into his native Zimbabwe. Starting with a memory of the war in Rhodesia Jason Green its engaged into the fight against elephant poaching and the smuggling of ivory via Zambia and Mozambique to Hongkong and China. The first class story involves of course again some romance, enough violence and plenty of description of wonderful African landscapes. A book that calls for reading from start to end without putting it down.

a great read
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and reading about the poaching of ivory and how it’s now carried out was horrifying.Jason Green became a hero in sorting it out, but along the way fell for a lovely lady who was sadly taken.A great story and I’m looking forward to the next episode.
