Hario Syphon Adaptor with 50 Sheets of Paper Filters, 12 x 7 x 11 cm

I purchased a coffee siphon from bespoke post some time back.. It came with a cloth filter that was a pain in the ass to clean, and was supposed to be kept damp and refrigerated in a plastic bag when you aren't using it.That's way too annoying to deal with on a regular basis, even if you are already going for what is arguably not the most practical way to make coffee.The good news is - this fits perfectly. I had to expand the spring a bit, but not much. Works great with the hario paper filters. Coffee tastes better when it's run through a cloth filter that hasn't been used several times before that retains old flavors.

Compared to the metal filter, the difference is dramatic. there are no fine grounds left at the bottom of the pot. the flavor is less acidic.

Excellent accessory for the already most flavorful coffee-brewing method: the siphon.Cloth filters absorb oils, have to be kept wet, and turn rancid over time. Steel mesh filters basically suffer from the same problem, just less visibly so. Both filter assemblies are o.k. if you brew the same coffee every single day.The paper filter adapter is easy to use and nicely weighted for proper installation. Paper filters guarantee optimum results every time, and professionals will tell you it retains up to 30% more aroma in the brewed coffee.

I hope the pulling string should be longer half inches. All other things are satisfactory.

So I accidentally thew away my original coffee filter for my Osaka Siphon coffee maker. I did some research and found this one. I did what someone had recommended and I stretch the spring to decrease tension. The neck of my coffee maker is much longer than the spring was. I am thankful for buying this filter, because it works perfectly. Just don't tighten the two metal plates very hard when you put in the filter, makes it easier to remove when you need to change out the filter. I Unfortunately I can't use it right now since I ran out of filters and Amazon sent me A&D ointment instead of my filters, no return policy ?? Now what do I do, chance ordering it again?? Anyone have that problem?? Back to at the filter, you will not regret buying this if you have a syphon coffee maker. Works better than the cloth and so thankful I accidentally thew out the original cloth one I had. Good luck if you buying filters from Amazon.

The supplied chain is not long enough for a Yama Glass stovetop vacuum siphon. I had to switch the chain out with the one that came with the siphon.

Comoda l'idea di utilizzare un filtro di carta invece di quello in cotone che dopo pochi utilizzi si intasa, peccato che fin ora tutti i filtri si sono bucati durante l'utilizzo rendendo la tazza di caffè piena di fondi. In questo modo, praticamente inutile ed inutilizzabile.

This was a replacement - my husband accidentally threw the previous one into the composter, we may retrieve it next spring! From which you may gather that this is an excellent replacement for the cloth filters that the Hario comes with but which I find impossible to keep mould-free for any sensible period of time. The papers are unbleached and don't affect the taste of the coffee any more thanthe cloth filters did.

J'utilise le Siphon de manière occasionnelle, de ce fait, le filtre en tissu demande plus d'entretien (le laisser immergé dans un bocal puis le rincé à nouveau avant et après utilisation etc...)Bref trop complexe, je voulais de la simplicité et cet adaptateur fait parfaitement le job !Je dirai même que je retrouve enfin le goût de mon café grâce au filtre papier. Le problème avec celui en tissu, est qu'à force d'utilisation, il fini par s'imprégner de l'huile du café et fausse le résultat en tasse.Je recommande vivement ce produit.

Der Filter funktioniert einwandfrei. Ich habe ihn für meinen Pebo Kaffeebereiter gekauft, da der originale Plastikfilter regelmäßig verstopft ist, obwohl ich den Kaffee immer so grob wie möglich gemahlen habe.Durch den Papierfilter kann ich auch mittlere Mahlgrade verwenden, ohne dass etwas verstopft. Feinere Mahlgrade sind ohnehin uninteressant, da durch die Immersionsmethode zu viele Bitterstoffe gelöst werden würden.Es ist wirklich toll, nun mit verschiedenen Mahlgraden experimentieren zu können und so das Beste aus dem Kaffee heraus zu holen.Im Unterschied zum Plastikfilter finden auch keine feinen Partikel mehr ihren Weg in den Kaffee.
