I’ve tried so many dry shampoos, but none compare to this one! The powder works so much better than a typical aerosol dry shampoo. This works so well to soak up oil, but also adds volume to my hair. The product has no scent which I love and does not leave a residue feeling on my hair. I will always repurchase this product!

I have been on the hunt for dry shampoo that doesn't leave a cast and that actually absorbs oils. Haven't had the best results with aerosols so I decided to try it in powder form. As far as it absorbing excess oils, it does just that and instantly. But for me, the white cast didn't blend into the hair with a pat or even brushing through so that is unfortunate for me. For context, I have dark brown hair (roots) with copper highlights and you can see the white cast. This has no odor, but will give you some volume/texture so that's awesome! Price isn't too bad for the amount that definitely goes a long way. I will not be repurchasing this product simply for not getting the outcomes I expected. But, I do recommend for others as it may work for you!

Chose to try this to avoid aerosol dry shampoo. It does a good job of soaking up the oils. However, the bottle is pretty messy and will get everywhere. Maybe I got a faulty bottle. The bottle is also pretty small for the price.

Repeat purchase. Tried one other powder dry shampoo as I wanted to get away from aerosols and I’m sticking with the Kristin Ess product. It works well and I like the pump design. Much less mess than I had with other powder containers.

I think some people might think it's too white because they're using too much product. I have brown hair with dark roots, and I don't see a white residue unless I use too much. The pump is really strong at first when the bottle is full. I also think it works best if you use it before going to sleep, so it will get rubbed in naturally. I think it's pretty impressive technology; I've never seen a pump for powder before. The pump works less well as it starts running out, but even then you can unscrew the lid and apply the powder yourself. You can also pour it into a new bottle. It feels much less wasteful than an aerosol spray. There's also much more product in this small bottle than in an aerosol can. I find the aerosols last me a month max, and this one can last 3 months. I've been reordering this for years. I have very oily hair that I normally have to wash every other day. I went on a week long camping trip in national parks with no showers, and this was a lifesaver.

I really like that it's fragrance free. It did not do anything for my hair. The pump application is extremely messy, I had powder all over the place before I was done. It dispenses more product than is reasonable with each pump, so you end up with more powder in some spots no matter how much you try to spread it. I have dark hair, and the powder didn't blend in that well. It was just ok. It did not help at all with oil control and my hair looked like crap. My hair was barely oily when I tested it. This dry shampoo is worth a try if you have pets and can't spray aerosol. Maybe stand in your shower while applying it so it doesn't coat your whole entire bathroom floor.

I like this a lot. It absorbs oil without leaving your hair grippy and staticky. I'm also allergic to fragrance so this is perfect for me.
