The water pump did not function so it was not possible to make espresso. Subsequently we attempted to ship the unit back to the manufacturer. Much to our surprise the shipping cost quoted from several different shipping agents averaged $260 which is over $100 more than the unit itself cost. This makes absolutely no sense. We are longstanding desertcart Prime members that purchase frequently. We have only sent back a handful of items in years of buying that were all damaged of non-functional items right out of the box. This is tremendously disappointing and we will be in contact with desertcart management to see if there is an alternate resolution. Review: Good product. Good price *by R***R on 27 November 2025* A great coffee machine for the price ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don’t hesitate! *by A***T on 28 May 2024* I have been reading the reviews on and off for about 4 months before finally deciding to go ahead and buy the machine. At first the coffee tasted awful and like plastic but I did a good wash through with vinegar and water and then water twice and since then the taste has been perfect. It’s really easy to use, heats up quickly and I would say takes about 5 mins to make a coffee. In regards to stains and splatters- if it’s not twisted in tight enough the coffee splatters, but once you have made your coffee clean the machine down immediately and no staining. This is a perfect machine for if you want to start making espresso at home and see if you use your machine enough before making a proper investment! I’m so pleased I took the plunge and bought it.
