But we are in the middle of a pandemic, and I was SO TIRED of stick straight, so I figured--what do I have to lose? It will grow out! Well, WOW!!! I am happily surprised! I had read the reviews and followed the advice to use the blue rollers for a tighter curl--it came out exactly as I would have wanted in the best of circumstances, so I am delighted! The perm was easy--I left it on for 25 minutes, as indicated. There are no dry, split ends that I can see--hair seems to be in great shape. As far as odor goes, I can't smell anything, but my husband (my "assistant") says there is no strong odor--you can smell it faintly if you put your head right in my hair, but according to him, the odor is faint. This is what I used: Zotos Acclaim extra body acid perm for normal, fine or tinted hair. Yellow box; "medium to fine." I recommend this product wholeheartedly--so happy I took the plunge! Yes, I would buy it again!
