You must be working for a company that does not make or represent the Powerbuilt name. By your question about quality, you are going off of rumors and gossip.I have been in the very dangerous employment of glazing, sandblasting, industrial coating, waterproofing, painting, industrial and commercial building repair, and skyscraper window washing. Safety and quality of tools for myself and my crew is my first concern. I actually was a consultant for Landa Pressure Washers,and many Industrial Chemical Companies like Shermiin Williams and Miller Paint. Many things can go wrong when you'r 80 feet up on a crane at the shipyards,or sandblasting, testing , and coating a Bridge in Portland Oregon, or just fixing your truck or car. Powerbuilt tools, and especially this #640912 keeps me verysafe, better than a car jack alone or a jack stand alone. Look up what the Fire Departments and first responders use at your local Safety Equipment Supplier.Look up the Fisk Descender, a safety device made by my previous employer and inventor, Brian Fisk. We used this safety device to descend from buildings andCranes, and Holding Tanks at the Refineries. I pressure washed 8 to 10 story buildings hanging to prep them for coating or waterproofing or caulking. When I needthe safest support product I know to crawl under and work on a heavy machine or vehicle or industrial motor at Frito Lay or a support beam at Robinson Dairy, you'llsee this Powerbuilt 640912 keeping me safe. Now that I am retired from the Industrial world, I will continue to stand by and consult and train people with manyother Powerbuilt products.

Q: What is the exact measurement of this jack? For storage purpose.

I measured it in half light so do not bet the farm on the answer but it should be close. The base is 9"X9" and it is nearly 13" tall. That will get you close.

Raise the jack, lift the latch while lowering the jack.

Q: Tell me the difference between the 3 ton model and the 6000 pound model?

The saddle design was changed on the 6000 lb. unit jack so that you can lift from the riser and you can lift from the saddle straight over the hydraulic piston giving a more rigid level structure. The design change was made to expand the capabilities of the jack not only to use just automotive, but also to leveling in construction, building related applications or leveling fir RV's and other uses as well.
